This elegant mountain home combines cozy alpine charm with modern comfort. It features five beautifully appointed bedrooms and five bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 15 guests in beds, with additional sofa sleepers available for larger groups. The lodge’s thoughtful design creates the perfect environment for families and friends to relax, connect, and enjoy the beauty of Solitude.



Guests will love the radiant heated floors, spacious chef’s kitchen, two inviting family rooms, and mudroom with private ski lockers—all complemented by expansive windows overlooking the slopes.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire home, including the garage and outdoor areas. Self check-in instructions are provided 48 hours before arrival, ensuring a smooth and easy arrival experience. The garage accommodates two vehicles, with additional parking available in the driveway or nearby.

Apex Lodge sits in the heart of Solitude Mountain Resort, surrounded by nature, adventure, and convenience. During winter, you’ll enjoy ski-in/ski-out access and nearby gear rentals, restaurants, and a spa. In summer, explore scenic trails, alpine lakes, and meadows filled with wildflowers. The charming Solitude Mountain Village is just a short walk away, and the vibrant city life of Salt Lake City is only a 40-minute drive.



Getting Around:

Accessing Big Cottonwood Canyon in winter requires a 4WD vehicle or snow chains, as this is a mountain area with heavy snowfall.

- Garage parking for 2 cars + 2 spaces in the driveway (a 5th spot available in summer)

- Additional parking available near the Solitude First Aid Station

- Grocery stores and restaurants are within a 20–25 minute drive (Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Smith’s, and Harmons)

Interaction with Guests:

Please note that pets are not allowed anywhere in Big Cottonwood Canyon due to watershed restrictions. Smoking and unauthorized parties are strictly prohibited.



For your safety, the home is equipped with exterior security cameras that monitor only the outside areas. During winter, guests should avoid walking along the sides or behind the house due to snow and ice fall from the roof.



The hot tub is professionally serviced each week—please do not add chemicals, but a small container of defoamer is available in the garage if needed. Guests are also asked not to enter or wade into the creek behind the home, as it is part of a protected watershed area.

- The home does not have air conditioning, but summer evenings are cool and fans are provided in every bedroom
