Lovely location with a splendid view

Small and bijou perfect for 2 people- relaxing and laid back. Uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean from a large terrace. Handy if you are fit for the walk to Soller Bay especially the return. Or have an appropriate car and reasonable driving skill.

Die Lage ist wunderschön, man benötig allerdings ein bergtaugliches Kompaktfahrzeug mit hinreichend starkem Motor. Die Lage des Treffpunktes mit dem Vermieter bei Übernahme war für mich als deutschsprechender Mitmensch schlecht zu definieren weil von dort ausschließlichspanisch und französisch gesprochen wurde

Up, up and away

Es Mirador is a place for peace and tranquility overlooking the Med from a height that is well worth the hike up from Port De Soller. It's a little quirky but surprisingly spacious, very comforatable and there's plenty of everything you might need. We had a great 4 nights here at the end of a trip to Mallorca. As others have said the road up is a little challenging but we were happy to get here and then just work up and doen to the beach and town as needed. Highly recommended.

Wir wurden herzlich von den Eigentümern empfangen, hier nochmals einen herzlichen Danke an Y. und B. für Alles.Das Häuschen ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Eine Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden, aber über dem Bett ist ein großer Ventilator, der das Schlafen erträglich macht. Für 2 Personen ideal.Die Lage ist perfekt, ich schätze das Häuschen liegt etwa 100-120 m über dem Meeresspiegel und vom Meer auch etwa 80-100m entfernt, direkt an einer kleineren, nicht zugänglichen Bucht. Es gibt nur wenige weitere Häuschen in der Umgebung.Die Aussicht ist phänomenal, die Sonnenuntergänge sind unvergesslich. Es könnte sein, dass wir wieder mal den Blick genießen werden. Die Fotos der Homepage sind korrekt, aber es ist real noch besser.Die Strecke von der Stadt zum Häuschen ist abenteuerlich aber machbar. Aber man sollte schon etwas Fahrpraxis haben. Wir sind den schmalen, manchmal auch steilen Waldweg mit einigen sehr engen Serpentinen nachts nicht gefahren, tagsüber aber war es kein Problem.Man sollte jedoch einen kleineren SUV als Mietwagen buchen.Übrigens, von Port de Soller, bis zum Häuschen läuft man zu Fuß in ca. 25 min.Zu guter Letzt: Es ist ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt

Vorab ein Wort zum legendären Weg. Du brauchst ein Auto mit Kraft (ideal wäre kleiner Suzuki Allrad), dann kann die geteerte aber teilweise sehr steile Straße auch genommen werden. An einigen Stellen ist diese sehr eng, aber machbar. Oben angekommen erscheint dieser traumhafte Blick. Unterkunft selbst ist vollständig und liebevoll eingerichtet aber etwas im vintage style. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt.

Amazing location

One of Soller best kept secrets! A charming place located on the side of the mountain with an amazing view over the méditerranéen sea. The drive up takes a bit of will power (above average driver only) and it helps that the Balthazar and Ivon are in front to show you the way(easier the second time around). An amazing piece of paradise, a 7/5 star on location. Super clean and well maintained with an appropriate rustic decoration. Solar and gas energy. Great 25 min hike from the house to Torre Picada and 30 min hike to a small bay (not a beach, rocky terrain) for snorkling. Super friendly and helpful host Thank you Ivon and Balthazar for sharing your wonderful house.

The best vacation

I cannot recommend this enough. It was one of the best vacations I have had. The views from the house are absolutely breathtaking, in the most beautiful area of Mallorca. Although it’s a little bit of a climb to get there, it’s absolutely worth it and we went without a car and walked every day down to the port and back with no issues. If anything it’s beautiful doing the walk to because of the nature surrounding you. Aside from this, the house is perfect, equipped with everything you could need, super clean and comfortable. Every morning we had breakfast over looking the sea and it was magical. I cannot fault a thing. And to top things, Baltasar and Yvonne were amazing hosts and greeted us with a cold beer and helped us so much throughout. I will recommend this to all of my family and friends and be back as soon as I can. Thanks. La Mejor vacación de mi vida. Pase 4 días aquí con mi novio y ya queremos regresar. La casa está súper linda y cómoda, tiene todo lo que necesitas y más. Y la cosa más especial del lugar es la vista, una de las vistas más lindas que he visto en mi vida, y tener esto 24 horas por día, era un sueño. Y con 10 -15 minuticos camino hasta el puerto de soller, donde tiene todo- restaurantes-bares etc. Localización perfecta. Baltasar y Yvonne era muy muy amidable, y nos ayudemos con todo, muy buena comunicación, y lo más bueno, una cerveza refresca a la bienvenida. Súper !! Gracias por todo- no puedo esperará a estar allí de nuevo

Limited accessibility to the property, no cancellation policy

We had to interrupt our stay after two days (planned and payed 6 days) because the owner did not inform us in any way about the horribly narrow, steep and curvy road to the property! You need to have a small car with a manual handbreak to be able to manage the steep and curvy road. Trees and branches scratched our car on the narrow road and the automatic handbreak made it impossible to drive the steep curve (you need to reverse once) without ruining the clutch. The house is small, but very nice and clean. No washing machine or dishwasher. The view is nice but there is no possibility to relax on the veranda! No sunbeds, no comfortable chairs. Only two tables with fixed seating benches, that are VERY uncomfortable! The picture of the veranda is misleading! There is no round table or chairs under the roofing! I am sure there are nice hiking paths but if you want to explore the island by car this is the wrong place, due to the limited and difficult accessibility. Also because of the uncomfortable outdoors, you don’t want to spend a lot of time there. We felt trapped in a prison with a nice view. The Owner was not helpful at all, and Vrbo wouldn’t help either. There was no possibility to even get a partial refund, although we left after two nights, because we didn’t want to ruin our car. A very unsatisfying stay and loss of money.

Sehr schöne Aussicht, der Weg zur Unterkunft ist nur mit einem kleinen Auto empfehlenswert. Einfache Ausstattung aber das macht die traumhafte Lage wett! Sehr nette Vermieter!!!

OK, il n'y a pas de piscine, pas de jacuzzi, pas de tv mais l'emplacement dépasse en agrément cent fois ces artifices. C'est la première fois de ma vie que j'ai eu le sentiment d'être privilégié. Merci à Yvonne et Balthazar

Perfect place for a quiet getaway.

I can certainly say out of the many places we have visited Over the years we will be returning here. The space is perfect for someone looking for a quiet get away. It has stunning vistas directly out your front door. The town is a 20 minute walk which isn’t bad but can be strenuous in the heat. We didn’t find a need to go to town much and mostly stayed in simply leaving to pick up some essentials for dining. The hosts were so gracious and welcoming. I wish we spoke better Spanish so we could properly express the many thanks for sharing their wonderful spot.

Stunning place

Something a bit different and away from the crowds in Port de Soller. We arrived on foot and made the walk up/down the hill each day. The view out over the sea and up to the pinnacle is incredible, and the olive groves on the road are very picturesque. The property is comfortably furnished and well-maintained.

Costal retreat

We loved our stay at this cozy little mountain cottage. The views from the cottage and big outdoor area were amazing, and it was just incredible to be able to hike directly from our front door. The road up is quite steep and narrow, so don’t try with anything larger than a small hatchback. Baltasar has done an amazing job of setting up this cottage for an off the grid retreat. Perfect to unplug, unwind and just watch the sunset over the Med each day.
