My family and I loved our stay at this lakeside cottage! The view was beautiful from inside the cottage and out, and the cottage was very clean with everything we needed in nicely labeled drawers and cupboards. Directions provided by the owner to get there and to get in the cottage were straight forward and everything was exactly as we expected from the property listing! My mom was thrilled with the antiques and traditional decor and had pleasant interactions with the owner, who she messaged to say how much we loved this place! I loved how quiet and cozy it was, so I slept really well and enjoyed returning 'home' to our cottage after attending a wedding nearby. Great experience, and it included everything as advertized!

Lovely Quaint Cottage
This property was perfect for me and my husband. I love the fact that there was a king size bed, however the beds do take up most of the rooms. There was not a lot of room to move around, but honestly it does not matter. The room is for sleeping, and that is all that is needed. It is on a main highway, so there was a little traffic noise, but not so much that it bothered us.

Somers MT Cottage
This little cottage is located on the North end of Flathead lake in Somers, Montana. The property was as advertised. It is a Charming little cottage up a little bit above the lake with a partial Lakeview. It would help if they were able to trim the bushes below the driveway which would increase the view dramatically, but this may not be their property. Great design great layout, and I think it was a good value. The only negative some people would experience is the fact that like many to most properties, the back of his property backs right up to US 93. This really didn't bother those of us who stayed there. It is well located about 7 to 8 miles south of Kalispell and close to everything that you'd want to do there and that area. I do recommend this property.

Close to everything!
This rustic property was just perfect for us. My daughter, our German shepherd puppy and I chose this property because of how close to everything it was. We enjoyed family gatherings on the deck at the end of a day of hiking and we were able to have our dog outside with us. It was great!

Such a cozy cottage
We recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet place to stay with a great view. It is old but modernized. I will definitely stay here again. The only draw back is finding the driveway to the cottage.

A quick trip
We had a lovely time at the cottage, it was easy to find with the excellent directions! The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for the basket of treats and the k-cups of coffee! The view is wonderful and no matter what time of day it was there was a different sight to see. Thanks for the visit!

This was such a nice little vintage cottage! The decor made you feel like back in the day Montana.
Views of the lake and mountains were beautiful! Was a convenient location. Close the the lake, glacier, and hot springs. The best part was it was pet friendly! We walked our dogs to the lake, and had fun catching up with friends.

Wonderful stay in a well appointed cottage at a stellar location on Flathead Lake. Kitchen was very well stocked, quality beds and beddings, lots of special touches in cottage decor. Really loved our visit to this property and I would definitely return. Just excellent in all aspects.

Best Vacation Spot
This cute and comfortable cottage makes a perfect stay for your family reunion, quiet time, family meals and Glacier National Park fun. The linens and beds are excellent. The porches give extra options. And you can't stop gazing at the spectacular view of mountains and lake. The kitchen has a perfect assortment of pots and pans for full cooking options. I loved the deep dish skillet for reheating my frozen-in-advance meals. The oven bakes well in small batches since it is a slender profile. Karen is a wonderful host and great communicator. Lots to do in these surrounding towns. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Perfect location, great comfy house
We loved the house. They did a great job with the early 1900’s decor to match the house and it was like staying at my grandma’s house. Things of note: There is an AC unit in the living room. Not all houses in the Flathead area have them. Stairs going up to house. No dishwasher, not a problem for me. Very well equipped kitchen. Beds, linens and towels were all great. I think they were all memory foam mattresses. Not one complaint from me.

Lovely cabin
Karen's cabin was perfect for exploring the flathead valley and glacier national park. The kitchen has everything I needed to cook meals during my stay. I loved watching the snow fall! And enjoyed sunrises over the lake.

Great place, variety of common spaces gave choices for private time and group activities.
Choices for decoration kept with the theme for the house. Kitchen had everything we needed, a several items that were "extras". Well marked cabinets made it easy to find items. Beds were comfy, although not a ton of space for overnight bags, minor issue. Property manager local and was able to help with a special request. Very helpful and easy to work with. Our stay was the best!

This rental unit was well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was extremely flexible and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure everything was spotless and provide fishing rods for my husband and adult children. I loved that everything in the kitchen was clearly labeled. The front porch is just as cozy as it looks. It was our favorite gathering spot.

Words cannot describe how happy I was with this home! This was our first time using VRBO, so I didn’t quite know what to expect. Upon arrival, I felt like I was at home! Karen has thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay relaxing and like your home away from home. So many little details that I never imagined. There were a lot things that I thought I would have to go out and buy myself for our stay, but Karen provides it all. Home was clean, sanitized, and the beds were so comfortable! Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Were 30-45 minutes from Glacier National Park, 2o minutes from Bigfork, 25 minutes from Kalispell. Gorgeous views of stunning Flathead Lake. My only regret was that we hadn’t booked a longer stay! Can’t beat her price for this time of the summer in Flathead Valley ! Book NOW!

All of my expectations were met. Perfect location with an amazing view. We travelled with small children and I wasn’t worried about them breaking anything. Also, they were able to play outside freely. All basic necessities were provided. This place is magical. You instantly feel relaxed. Life seems more simple here. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this great little cabin for a girls weekend! Karen provides everything you could possibly want, including snacks, coffee, filtered water, the most comfortable beds and pillows, and even the cupboards and drawers are labeled so you don't have to search through everything to find what you need! Charming Property in Somers
Place was clean, noise from highway not as prominent as other reviews stated. Beds very comfortable, Karen was SO accommodating. As a local, you will not find a spot near Flathead for this value, even though there is no immediate access to the lake, Somers Bay is less than a mile away with any rentals you can want. Book this place now if available, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect lake side getaway
I really enjoyed my time at Karen’s cabin. The cabin has many windows and receives great light throughout the day. Close by to whitefish and glacier national park- the cabin’s location is perfect for exploring the beautiful mountains and rivers. I would stay here again in a heart beat and was sad to leave the peaceful lakeside cabin.

We had a short stay. Basically a place to rest our heads since we were there for a family reunion. Nice patio & view of lake. Just a little loud being so close to highway but earplugs work for sleeping. LOL
