'Breakfast and coffee included would have made a difference. The hotel was also very cold. They adjusted it by the second night but it was unnecessarily over-chilled. Otherwise, very nice rooms.'

'I’ve booked direct before and don’t remember being charged for parking $15 per day which is crazy since there is ample parking surrounded by businesses who would certainly not use the hotel’s parking. It may be because I booked with Expedia which was a huge savings even with paying for parking, my only surprise.'

'Bathroom was not clean. Hair from the previous visitor was on the bathroom floor and in the shower. Shower curtain was discolored. Elevator was too small, and only fit 1 person with their belongings in it at a time. Crumbs on top of the fridge. Found someone’s credit card in one of the drawers, which also indicated that they’re not cleaning the rooms properly. Indoor hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. 'Pool was closed despite it being June. Elevators were extremely slow, and one was completely broken. Took forever to go up or down. Breakfast was out of food as it got closer to 9 30. Staff was great, rooms were clean.'

'The room was clean. There is not a breakfast buffet. There is not a pool. There is a gym. They say convince area but no one working the area. The registration people were always busy. Music blasting in the lobby and because it’s pet friendly there were dogs barking at all hours. Only two towels for a family of four.'

'Elevators are very slow. Rest is great. Close to a trail near Hudson. Very nice walk even if it is sunny outside. Shaded by trees. Food mart in a small town near this trail (30 min walk) is also good for small shopping.'

'do not park in the street, white plains does not allow overnight parking. the fee is $20 but you would have to move the car by 8am. the $25 parking fee is great because this hotel offers a 12pm checkout time'

'Make no mistake, the grounds are beautiful. The original mansion is also beautiful. However, it is very modern and the addition of recent structural additions to accommodate an increasing number of guests does diminish the property from the magic it claims. Imagine an old mansion property where the atmosphere ends at the door to your room because as soon as you enter the room, you’re now staring at a Hilton or Comfort Inn.'
