Villa Serena is gelegen in de prestigieuze Mission Highlands, op slechts zes minuten rijden van het historische Sonoma Plaza. Als je begint aan je beklimming van de heuvel, word je getransporteerd naar een wereld van stille rust.

Onze luxe privéwoning, omringd door majestueuze eiken, olijfbomen en Chinese esdoorns, biedt afgelegen privacy met een prachtig uitzicht op de Sonoma-vallei en de berg Tamalpais.

Prachtig ingericht, met onberispelijke aandacht voor detail, ons huis is comfortabel en rustgevend terwijl het esthetisch aangenaam is voor de ziel. Alle kamers hebben hoge kathedraalplafonds die opvallen met licht terwijl ze een prachtig uitzicht op onze natuurlijke tuinen of de uitgestrekte landschappen beneden weergeven.

Ontspan in de rustgevende, uitnodigende woonkamer met zijn stenen open haard of
dineren in het glazen solarium onder de oaktrees op een maanverlichte nacht.

Geniet van een brunch halverwege de ochtend buiten op het ruime terras met boeiende uitzichten. Kook in onze volledig uitgeruste keuken, neem een ​​pauze in de mooie zithoek en geniet van een wijntje.

Rust uit in onze prachtige slaapkamer en bewonder het uitzicht, compleet met een volledig vernieuwde en-suite badkamer en ligbad.

Lees een goed boek in onze gezellige kamer met een adembenemend uitzicht en kom tot rust in het luxe beddengoed en beddengoed. Verwen uzelf in de onlangs gerenoveerde gastenbadkamer met een rustgevende, volle douche.

De open schrijverskamer biedt extra slaapplaatsen voor twee personen op de comfortabele tweepersoons slaapbank met een prachtig uitzicht op de betoverende tuin met het zwembad.

Het glorieuze verfrissende zwembad in de weelderige tuin nodigt uit op warme zomerdagen en -nachten en is een oase van rust voor meditatie en vernieuwing.

Beautiful stay in wine country!!

This was the perfect accommodation for the perfect trip! The pictures online did not do this property justice!! We absolutely loved the house and our stay. The natural lighting, coffee on the deck in the morning. Perfect! Only thing we could have wished for more would have been a heated pool this time of year. But we loved being up high with a view of Sonoma!

This was an amazing stay for my 27th birthday with friends! The host was super nice and responsive and even welcomed us with a bottle of champagne for my birthday- it was so sweet! Beautiful home, fantastic view

This was our second stay at this home and we had another amazing anniversary. The location is quiet and the view is spectacular. Very close to tons of restaurants just a few minutes down the hill. We will return.

Beautiful property, lovely view and close to everything!

Our family of 4 (2 adult children) very much enjoyed our stay. Alana and Jo were very communicative, calling to see if we had any questions about the property before we arrived, always available during our stay and even treated us to a bottle of wine. Their messages were always warm and helpful. The house itself was clean, well stocked and just lovely. We enjoyed the different spaces available, including the large deck with views of wine country. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. Perfect location; remote enough to provide privacy and close enough to Sonoma square to have access to shops, restaurants and groceries. Hope to stay here again soon; thank you, Alana and Jo, for a wonderful experience!

Relaxing Beautiful spot...

We rented the home for a wedding we were in town for. It was my adult son and his wife visiting from Austin. and my husband and I. I didn't want to leave the property to participate in the wedding celebrations because I loved the home so much! Relaxing, unbelievable views, tastefully decorated. Clean, and bright! The Perfect Place for a Wine Country Trip

My fiancé, my friend, and I stayed here after four long days of hiking at Yosemite. To say this home is relaxing and tranquil is an understatement. The home is gorgeous and quiet, the views are immaculate, and Jo and Alana could not have been better hosts. It’s a 10 minute drive at most to downtown Sonoma and there is so much to do and see around the area. We definitely look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful home, view & area and refreshing pool

The home is so tastefully decorated, just loved it. I was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. We were planning to cook and BBQ so we were prepared, but they had thoughtful things that we forgot like having foil and a shelf full of spices. We rented the home for a week to get out of the usually foggy city, so we wanted a view and a pool. A house with a pool not too big for two people is not easy to find, so it was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable and my sister stayed one night in the guest room, and she said the twin bed was comfortable and linens were quality. We loved waking up to a view of the Sonoma valley. The pool was my first requirement and I usually like the temperature like a bathtub. I was hesitant because it's not heated. Temperatures went from over 90 to over 100 and the pool was just right; we even swam in the evenings. We could live on the deck, coffee in the morning, happy hour in the afternoon and dinners each night out doors. We took walks every day and found the neighbors friendly as well. The view reminded of us of a place near Todi, Italy, a favorite of ours. We are in Sonoma often, but still ventured out for a lunch and a few tastings. You are away from it all and it's a peaceful location, and at the same time, the square is 8 mins away We will stay again!

A peaceful beauty

There was no question that this beautiful property was perfect for the celebration of my birthday with my family, but I didn’t expect the remarkable peacefulness as well. A few things…

We had hoped for a king-sized bed in the bedrooms, a shower in the master and a heated pool and hot tub. The TV wasn’t really accessible or watchable, but we didn’t need it for us. The place was very serene and we loved all the outdoor spaces, the views and wind chimes. The host was very communicative. The lighting was very confusing even with all the explanations and some didn’t work.

We couldn't get over ever aspect of this house, the property and the views! Although we went about the town shopping, we couldn't wait to get back and spend the evenings and mornings on the patio. Great wine country getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Serena. It was a great location for our plans. We visited multiple wineries in the Napa & Sonoma area and also visited with friends in Santa Rosa, visiting 2 state parks. Our drive was 50 minutes or less for all our planned destinations. The house was immaculate. Directions, locations of anything we could need was very clear through email and a binder within the residence. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements. We cooked almost every morning and every night while there. There is a Whole Foods and Safeway very convenient to the house. The view out the windows and off the deck is lovely. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Property with an amazing view

My family and I stayed for the Christmas holiday and had a wonderful time. The location is convenient to the main square in Sonoma and yet it feels like the property is remote given the stunning landscape views. The house is cozy and comfortable with multiple seating locations for working, eating or reading. Jo is a lovely host and very communicative. She will reach out via phone to provide an overview and recommendations on things to do locally. Highly recommended!
