Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house and adjacent outdoor and entertainment amenities. Access to one of 2 outdoor patios is via narrow staircase, which may be not suitable for young children and guests with limited capabilities.

For your safety, we kindly request that guests DO NOT venture beyond fenced areas. If you choose to go outside of the fenced areas, you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please be aware that potential dangers include poison oak, various tripping hazards, and an unfenced creek that can pose a drowning risk. Additionally, you might encounter local wildlife such as deer, skunks, raccoons etc.

We recommend exercising caution and being mindful of your surroundings to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.

Hot tub usage guidelines
To ensure all our guests have an enjoyable and relaxing experience, we kindly request adherence to the following guidelines:
1. Timed Usage: It's generally recommended to limit individual hot tub sessions to 15-20 minutes at a time. Prolonged exposure can lead to dehydration, overheating, and skin irritation.
2. Cleanliness: Kindly shower before entering the hot tub to maintain its cleanliness. Please do not bring any food or drinks in glass containers into the hot tub area.
3. Operation: Please keep the hot tub covered when not in use.

Please drink plenty of water before and after using the hot tub to stay hydrated. If you have heart conditions, are pregnant, or prone to seizures, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider before using a hot tub.

Other things to note

Please supervise children at all times, DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED. During playtime, please keep an eye on children when using the hot tub and the game room. Safety first! 🌅🎮👀

We’ve stocked our home with a variety of games, toys, and equipment for your entertainment and enjoyment. We invite you to make the most of these amenities during your stay! 🎱🎲🏓
To ensure that all our guests can share in the fun, we kindly ask that you handle these items with care. Please treat them as if they were your own, so they remain in great condition for others to enjoy after your departure. Please bring all outdoor games (e.g. cornhole boards) back inside the game room, as nightly fog/dew quickly destroy them.

For the safety of our guests and the surrounding natural beauty, we kindly ask you to be extra cautious with fire hazards, especially during the dry summer months. Fireworks and open flames, including campfires and charcoal grills, are not permitted anywhere on the property due to elevated fire risk. Please fully extinguish cigarettes and follow all local fire regulations.

We appreciate your help in protecting this beautiful area and ensuring a delightful safe stay for everyone!

Please respect our neighbors with NO loud music or noise after 10 PM.

Dogs and/or service animals are welcome upon prior notification and subject to additional cleaning fees of $150 to provide deep cleaning + disinfection for next guests who may have allergies.

Absolutely NO smoking inside both the house and game room. This includes indoor use of tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana. If you do smoke outside, please ensure all ashes and butts are properly disposed of. A smoking cleaning fee maybe charged of $1000 if required to clean up.

The house heating system operates using a digital thermostat. Please note that we do not offer wood or pellet stoves for heating, nor do we provide outdoor fire pits due to fire safety concerns. The house is equipped with central heating, familiar to most consumers. We kindly request that guests turn off the heater prior to check-out; an excessive propane usage fee of $50 will be applied if heaters are not turned off.

Parties/events are not allowed. Guests who violate this rule will be asked to leave. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis, with associated security deposit and additional cleaning fee.

Please input correct number of people who will stay in the house; we will make bedding and other accommodation arrangements according to the number of guests you provided when booking. Any guests above maximum occupancy of 14 people will require additional charge of $35/guest/night.

While commercial photography and filming are generally not allowed, please contact us to discuss potential exception options.

Check in is at 4 PM and check out is at 11 AM.

Please kindly note that this is a forest property surrounded by abundant eco-system, where ants, flies, spiders and other insects are a natural part of the environment. While we conduct regular pest control, these little visitors might sometimes find their way in. Please keep exterior and garage doors closed to prevent them inside.
