Het mooiste van dit hotel was de ligging en verder de drankautomaten op elke gang. Het hotel biedt parkeren aan voor €18 per dag, sleutel inleveren en cash betalen. Het zwembad op het dak is erg klein en heeft te weinig bedden. Wat betteft geldt op is op! De kamer is zeer verouderd en je waant je terug in de begin zeventiger jaren. Internet is redelijk en gratis. Ontbijt is matig en sfeerloos. Vertier moet je buiten het hotel zoeken, want Sorrento is geweldig!

Heel erg vriendelijk personeel door het hele hotel. Wifi was wel wat traag. Een zeer goede locatie, bus/trein station heel dichtbij. Ontbijt was lekker en redelijk veel keuze

Uitstekende lokatie
Goed hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Grootste voordeel is de lokatie in centrum Sorrento, dicht bij alle geweldige restaurants en dicht bij het trein station vanwaar je de trein kan nemen naar alle bezienswaardigheden in de buurt zoals, Napels, Pompei, en Ercolano.

Heerlijk hotel, uitstekende locatie
Wij vonden dit een heerlijk hotel. Ruime kamer, goede airco, sanitair wat verouderd, maar alles was wel heel schoon. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. En alles liep gewoon op rolletjes. En perfecte ligging, binnen vijf minuten sta je op het centrale Tassoplein van Sorrento. Een absolute aanrader.

Een beetje ouder hotel (1962) maar dat heeft zijn charme , en alles was goed ! Ontvangst, ontbijt, kamers heel groot en zuiver ! Heel dicht bij het centrum . Was super voor ons . Je mag wel geen super de luxe verwachten !Daar zal je in deze stad wel meer voor moeten betalen

Really nice property. Amazing breakfast and breakfast room. Beautiful views from the pool area. Wonderful and helpful staff. Made several cab reservations and dining recommendations. Would definitely stay here again. Very happy with this hotel.

Disliked the strict “no drinks brought in” policy. I recommend an exception to allow outside bottles of water to be brought in. The bartender while we were there was good but VERY VERY SLOW.

Spacious, clean rooms with balconies. Very accommodating concierge desk when I unexpectedly needed a longer stay. Roof deck and ground floor garden were terrific places to relax and catch up on computer work. Wifi was 50mbs, amazing by hotel standards. Streets around the property are noisy, but windows are noise proof, and it's ideally located just two blocks from both the Piazza Tasso and the train station.

The property is extremely clean and well maintained. It is in a safe neighborhood with easy access to Positano and other towns on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is also located centrally and is walking distance to the train and bus stops. The staff were very professional and arranged a private transfer to the Naples Airport with an excellent driver. The breakfast spread was also top tier. I highly recommend this hotel.

Horrible stay
They lost our luggage. They gave a room with a non functioning bathroom and they accepted us to stay overnight in a room without a working bathroom. We were accused of lying about a toilet not working in order to get a new room. During this conversation, the other workers were laughing and making fun of us. These workers we interacted with were Valentina and Francesco.

The front desk staff (particularly Max) was super friendly and helpful. Our room had a great balcony with a view. The room was clean and pretty spacious. The location was so convenient to Piazza Tasso, a less than 5 minute walk. Also, the breakfast options in the morning were plentiful.

Vi fick byta rum för det hade släppt färg och tak i badrummet. Det nya rummet luktade unket och det stank ammoniak i badrummet. Poolen var inte städad och väldigt smutsig och nedskräpad. Det som var ett plus var att det var bra personal som snabbt fixade byte av rum och var hjälpsamma.

Lovely, quiet hotel with large clean rooms, small private terraces and a large rooftop terrace with a view of Vesuvius and a nice pool and restaurant. The main square was a short walk. Breakfast was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only challenge was the parking - the garage is small - but we made it work.

A reasonably priced hotel in a good location in Sorrento so you can walk to most places. Front desk staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. I can't comment on the rooftop pool and bar as it rained hard every day we were there. Only negative was the restaurant which had only a very limited of fixed meal options and the food was nowhere near four star standard in Italy.

This is the perfect hotel, amidst the perfect garden oasis setting to enjoy the 'quiet'. The hotel was a 5-min.walk from the train station. 2 blocks from Piazza Tasso, 3 blocks to the shops, 8-min. walk to the Communal Garden for the best views of Sorrento Bay. The hotel is clean, modern with beautiful finishes-glass, stone, marble, granite, woods, fabrics, stainless steel. Huge lobby with dining room & bar access. Arrived early & they kept our luggage safe until we came back to check in. The desk staff was so nice, helpful, professional & everyone was impeccably dressed. You never had to look for anyone!! Special thanks to Valentina. Our room, 305, had a balcony with 2 chairs/table. The pillows and linens were high quality & the bed was so comfortable. Huge closet space in wall, safe, 2 night stands, desk & chair, & a small table & chair. Great Wi-Fi! Bathroom mirror was a huge make up mirror! Walk-in shower, hand held attachment & a rain forest overhead. Big fluffy towels. The included breakfast was set up in a 'ball room' with waiters, linens, china and silverware. Hot eggs, bacon, sausages; cold meat/bread/jams/veggie/cheese bar; fruit bar; packaged gluten-free items; 8-9 different types of pastries, croissants, yogurt, cereals, freshest orange juice and 2 coffee machines that made 8 different coffees. We stayed 3 nights and found so much to do and see because of the location-it is 'perfection' in a word! Do yourself a favor and don't just look - just book! Ten stars!!!

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in Sorrent. Das Hotel ist eine super Startpunkt für alles. Die Altstadt, der Bahnhof , Restaurants etc. Alles war super zu erreichen.

Not a Grand place to stay - we felt "antsy"
We had this "antsy" feeling during our 5-day stay at this hotel. We wouldn't stay there again. Not that there was anything bad, except for the snotty attitude of a gray-haired waiter at breakfast, who didn't like the fact that we happened to sit at a table set for four at our first visit to the breakfast buffet, He could have been more gracious instead of showing the attitude he did. But this was the first example of what made us feel so "antsy"; like there were too many restrictions placed on us. The biggest: "Thou shall not bring purchased food or beverages into thine hotel room". We happened to have part of a bottle of water left over from our day's excursion, and we were reluctant to have the bottle seen by staff as we made our way to our room. Most hotels leave at least a complimentary bottle of water for guests, especially those who consider themselves "grand", but not this one. The breakfasts had a fair amount of choice, but very little menu turnover, and the food quality was mediocre on average. Some front desk personnel were warm and gracious, others were as cold as fish. Why did I say we felt "antsy"? It seems that this hotel may have had a problem with ants in the past,and may use the food restriction to limit the risk of another infestation. We really liked the location; just a block from the train/bus station, which made our day trips to Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast really easy to do. Housekeeping was superb. The room was good, but not grand, like the hotel.

Lovely, traditional Italian hotel, all high ceilings and tiled floors, a feeling almost of Art Deco in design. Friendly staff throughout, especially the rooftop bar man, who knew our drinks order every night, after the first visit! We only had had breakfast at the hotel, but the food was always fresh and plentiful and the coffee was just marvellous.

I think based on what we paid for the accommodations it was really expensive, the room was small, not very well appointed, you felt like you were back in the 70’s… if I were you, I would avoid this hotel, too much bucks for not allot of bang is my opinion. Although the pool deck on the roof had some great picture opportunities

The property has a great garden area and spacious rooms. The location is right next to the train and bus stops. It's a short walk to the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The downside was no coffee/tea maker in the room. This hotel has a no outside food/drink policy in the room or hotel areas.
