We had an absolutely wonderful one month stay at Sorrento Hills!!!The view of the bay from the balcony is so beautiful, even better than it appears in the photographs. The apartment itself was very comfortable, well equipped and kept very clean by the maid throughout our stay.It was much easier to get around than we expected and we did not need a car. There are Sita bus stops just outside the apartment gates to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast (though the Amalfi buses were very busy even in March). Sorrento has plentiful trains to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Napoli, and ferries to Capri, Ischia, Positano and Napoli. It was a perfect centre for exploring the area.Sorrento itself was surprisingly good, especially the Marina Grande and the old town around the Corso Italia. There is pretty much everything you need in the town, just 15mins and 9 hairpins from Sorrento Hills by bus (we walked several times, but it can be steep).The apartment is also only 15 mins walk from Sant'Agata, which has many local shops and supermarkets. The walk is along the Via Olivella, part of a marvellous walking network around the beautiful Sorrento Peninsula (see sorrentowalks.com).Best of all was Fulvio, our host. He was always contactable and always willing to help with advise and a lift to the house on arrival. Thank you, Fulvio, for a wonderful stay...Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations. I seldom give 10/10 in a review, but in this case, our stay deserved it!
