'My husband and I had the most amazing week here! Went fishing every day. Caught loads of fish around the lake. Even caught several off the dock, including a keeper walleye, perch, bass and northern! Sat and watched the northern lights from the dock one night. Grilled some steaks, went kayaking, saw lots of eagles and loons. Had a few campfires and enjoyed a cozy night by the fireplace. Jeff was great at accomodating anything we needed. He was quick to respond to emails. He was very respectful...

'Very quite peaceful cabin! It was perfect for the two of us, and our two dogs. Beautiful views from the dock and fire pit. Kitchen was well stocked! We have already booked our next trip to Ely next September '

'The cabin was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit, and enjoyed the convenience of being close to town and many of the local attractions. The online site says that dogs aren't allowed in the cabins, only cats, but we confirmed with Tanner that dogs are more than welcome. It was wonderful having our pup with us to enjoy the adventure! We highly recommend booking with Tanner and Voyageur North Outfitters directly to save money on the booking fees through Vrbo and...

'We had a wonderful stay! The location is private with trees and bushes in between the neighbors so you don't see them. The dock easily fit two fishing boats. There were more than enough trash bins to hold all of our trash, which is a big plus because some places don't have enough. The main house was a little bit to get to the water to (my parents are 79 and 82) but there is a small cabin that is right on the water. That had a bathroom and a refrigerator that could be used so you could hang out...

'The house and property are beautiful! Great views of sunrises if you can get up early enough. The house was actually larger than anticipated and was extremely well supplied. Would highly recommend! The only negative we found was that none of the windows had screens on them - we would’ve loved to open windows but didn’t want to contend with the mosquitoes. '
