'More like a boarding house than a hotel but great place to stay. I had no a lovely room with small courtyard view,room had fridge, desk and chair, microwave, jug and tea/coffee, TV, bed was comfortable and very friendly and helpful people. It is in a safe area and a short walk to cafes and shops.

'We got a family room excellent for 5, 2 big beds and 2 single beds. Great value for money. We had a very good time in Alcazaba hotel. There is a great Nando's restaurany at 100m. Good facility for the car at the supermarket parking closed very near. The neighbourhood is not beautiful nor very quiet by night. Great breakfast !'

'Everything perfect. The only thing what made us a littlebit sad was that we made a journey from 31 houres to reach the hotel and that we had to wait 50 minutes till we could check in. They couldnt find the reservation....for the rest evrything is fine.'

No chairs on balcony, no bottle of water in room, limited amount of free internet.
Good direct parking garage connection. Fine hotel for business (walking distance to city center and central station... but who would...

'The BnB was convenient for our needs, comfortable and host Sonny was fantastic, if we ever have a need to go back that side of Johannesburg we will stay there again.

'Love this place. I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend. The place is beautiful and very well made. I didn’t care for the dinner menu and the breakfast was served cold. I ordered pancakes and bacon. I would still recommend this lovely es.
