The house is in a great location! We walked to campus, about a 20-minute walk, and to Eddy Street in 15 minutes.
The main level layout has plenty of space for multiple families or large groups. The only downside is that there are only 2 bathrooms. We wish there was another bathroom in the basement.
The basement stairs could be challenging for little ones or older adults, and there is no door to the basement or the bedrooms. Once people are up and in the kitchen, those in the basement will hear them.
The kitchen has the basics of coffee mugs, stemware, glasses, plates, etc., but I am unsure about baking dishes and making dinner. We only used the kitchen for coffee and the oven for breakfast crescents.
The bedrooms had good closet space and dresser drawers. Most of the beds need new mattresses.
The outside has a nice large patio with a fireplace. I think we were supposed to have access to the garage, which had outdoor games, but none of the garage openers worked. It might be that the garage opener battery needed changing, but we did not bother reaching out to the owner since we would only be at the house for a short time.
A bonus was all the children's toys and books. No need to pack anything for young kids!
