Upon immediately entering the property I was welcomed by several piles of dirt that had come off from someone's shoe. The rug in the entry room had multiple other noticeable stains on in it. I cleaned what I could from the obvious dirt piles, but the stains would have taken too long - and I didn't expect to have to clean even before I could utilize the facilities. The refrigerator was not clean, I only cleaned the top shelves I used but the entire refrigerator had crumbs throughout. I also swept a the front room & kitchen and cleaned the microwave. Only 2 of the 5 guests decided to stay the night because of the odor of the property. I immediately informed the contact of the property' state upon arrival, and that we left it far cleaner than we found it and requested my housecleaning fee be returned. I was communicated with fairly quickly when I rented it, and when I informed them of the state upon arrival, but received no more responses when I informed them I wanted my housekeeping fee returned.
