Great escape!
Lovely cottage and outdoor property across from beautiful beach and close to downtown! Very peaceful! Grateful to bring our dog who loved it as well. Marta is a lovely host! Would love to visit again. Highly recommend.

The cottage
This cottage was perfect for 2 adults and a dog. We had a king-sized bed for sleep, a nice sized bathroom and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed to have a meal. Just outside of the cabin was a patio table with 4 chats and a fireplace. And, it was so close to Lake Michigan for walks.

Winter Getaway on the Lake
Beautiful cozy space across the street from Lake Michigan. Less than a mile from thje downtown. An easy walk at a time of the year when everything is so peaceful. Fun to see everything be the exact opposite of summertime. A whole different type of enjoyment compared to the wild times of summer.

Perfect little cottage!
This property was perfect for us. Across the street from the beach and close to downtown. The property was super clean, fully stocked, and even had a little christmas tree decorated in family room. Marta had cheeses in the fridge, wine and snacks on the table. She provided everything we needed for coffee each morning. This host has thought of everything. We will definitely be back. Hoping to stay in one of the larger units with friends and family. Thank you for being so thoughtful.

The house was very good organised and clean. Nice appliances and perfect personal staff. The communication with host was excellent. We stayed at the property couple days. It’s a great place for all seasons: close to the beach and downtown of South Haven. We visited New Year’s Eve celebration. It was great event in the city. Thank you for a great experience!

Off season trip
The town is very quiet, many shops and restaurants closed or with limited hours but it made the available options more personal. Cottage is comfortable and extremely clean. I wish the weather was a little better so we could have utilized the outdoor areas but the fireplace is cozy.

This gem of a cottage… perfect location.. walked everywhere.. to town, to the Beach directly across the street… Nicely decorated.. everything you need including personal touches from Hostess…. Walk to the beach
This cottage was in a class by itself. Marta thought of everything. Easy check in. The court yard was very nice. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could need. The suggestions for things to do as well as dining were a great help. Definitely try Julia’s and six chicks for dining. Beautiful park across the street and the beach beyond that. Neighbors were friendly and even a mini market a short walk away. Pet friendly. Would definitely come back. South Haven is such a quaint town.

Weekend get away!
This vrbo is fantastic. Marta took care of us down to the smallest detail. The extras in the kitchen are a bonus (coffee, spices, snacks, etc). We only wish the weather had been warmer, so we could have taken advantage of the bikes and pool! Hope to be back again! Thank you!

We were greeted by the manager, she was very helpful with showing us around, how to use the codes and the entire property. We stayed a week, there were lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only negative was there weren't many pet friendly areas.

Quick getaway to the lake
This was perfect for my self and my old pup Harley. We walked the beach in the morning and evening. and enjoyed the front porch to lounge in the sun and read. The weather was perfect and Marta was extremely helpful. Can’t wait to come back

The Perfect Little Spot in South Haven
Marta's cottage was just the perfect spot for a short weekend away for our small family. We brought our 7-month old and dog. The size of the cottage was just right for all of us. Marta had a pack and play ready to go for our baby, which worked out fantastically. Location is across the street from a park that leads to the beach and a 10-minute walk to the shops in town. Overall, it was a great stay. Marta had beach chairs available and a cart to easily transport beach gear around. We were greeted with some nice treats and music playing on the TV when we arrived. We'd definitely stay here again!

Cottage was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The home was very clean and well stocked. The pool and outdoor areas of the property were beautiful. The property is fantastic in all regards. It was perfectly clean when we arrived and we were greeted with jazz music playing from the TV and some local treats that Marta left for us. The amenities are wonderful - fire pits, a grill, and a pool house. We did not use the pool on our stay but it was clearly well kept. You can see the lake from the front window and the location is absolutely perfect. Also, Marta was extremely communicative about our stay and gave very clear and detailed instructions for check-in/check-out. We cannot wait to stay here again.

Perfect cozy cottage for 3
My husband, 11-yo daughter and myself came for a couple nights during our Spring Break at the end of March. The cottage is clean, cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The towels were thick, the King bed and the roll away were both comfortable. The weather ended up being chilly and windy but we still walked the beach & dunes several times and enjoyed good food at the local restaurants. Everything is easily accessible. We plan to come back!

It was the perfect size for two and it felt like its own little world. The special touches made it feel special and personal. Owner supplies everything you would need for a fun stay like pool, fire pit, bikes, off street parking, game room, laundry and secure setting. Nice, easy getaway and we will be back!
Easy drive with a 4 year old from the Chicago area. We knew we would be safer in a cottage than a hotel, because she isn’t vaccinated yet. Very clean and comfortable place. The shops and restaurants are nearby and so is the expressway. Very convenient to visit Saugatuck too! Thank you Marta for all of your help!

Stayed in Marta's property in South Haven and it was heaven. The place was well stocked with supplies and even a few treats. We had perfect weather and were able enjoy the pool and fire pit. Marta is a fabulous host, this property is at an outstanding location, and the amenities are excellent. Proximity to the beach cannot be beat, but the new pool is even better than the beach. Beach supplies were great. We wish we had been able to stay longer!

Worth EVERY PENNY!!
Marta (Property Mgr.) is FANTASTIC!! Very professional and responsive. Even left us a welcome package that was completely unexpected. Super clean and had all the amenities necessary. I was very impressed by the towels they provided. Much nicer than normal. Bed was also very comfortable. Easy walk to downtown South Haven or cross the street and you're walking on the beach. Outdoor pool and propane fire pit area is very nice. A GREAT place for a getaway for two.

Perfect location
This one bedroom/one bathroom cottage was perfect for a weekend get away. Located across the street from the beach, it was an easy walk. We did nightly walks down the street to the North Beach area, as well and walked out onto the north pier. A very easy and short walk to the downtown area for food and shopping as well. You can easily walk to the South Beach area and out on the big pier. The pool area and the new pool house are beautiful! I wish it were later in the year when we could enjoy it! There is plenty of outdoor seating for the three cottages on this property to share. The welcome basket was so sweet and the instructions for check in/out and how to use the TV etc were very thorough. We will definitely stay again and maybe bring the kids for a family and rent one of the bigger cottages trip next time!

Amazing peaceful getaway!
Marta’s cottage was the perfect getaway for us. We arrived to wine and treats and very clean and cozy cottage. We had the whole property to ourselves so she was very nice in letting us use the main deck for the weekend. You can literally see the water when you walk out the front door. Downtown was 10min walk which was easy and beautiful. It was our first time in South Haven but will not be our last. We will definitely try to book here again next time with Marta as well.
