I am contacting VRBO: 6 guests are allowed but parking for only 2; owner threatened (used unknown camera) to make us vacate ("calling authorities") since we were parked more than 2 and even tho were surprised by 6 friends just stopping by to wish my husband happy 80th birthday (left by 9:30 after sitting at the firepit); even with a huge gravel drive ("neighborhood rules") complaints continued that NO cars can park on the street or touch the grass (cars then moved to highway, even registered guests). All evening I received multiple phone calls, texts and even messages directed to VRBO to make the 6 people (all in their 70/80s) leave "immediately" and my rental is terminated! I didnt tell my birthday husband since he takes chemo and doesnt need stress. I was traumatized. I just pretended nothing was wrong. No authorities came (who, police?)and my family stayed to the next day. So the unknown camera was illegal, and the manner of treatment abhorant. I will contact VRBO direct. All cameras inside or out need to be acknowledged to the clients. Seemingly minor: TV only works if you use your own Netflix account, AC drips water and makes loud shreaky noises, rooms tiny (seating mostly for 4), decor wonderful, beach tiny.
