Je hebt de gehele woning helemaal voor jezelf en hoeft dus alleen met je reisgezelschap te delen.

Steen springt naar het strand. Ruim en gezellig

Een ruim en comfortabel huis met een grote schaduwrijke tuin voor buitenactiviteiten en ontspanning. Slechts een blok van Oak Street Beach. Het is net alsof je thuiskomt.

Drie slaapkamers bevatten twee met queen size bedden en een met twee aparte bedden. Met een queensize luchtmatras op aanvraag beschikbaar. Een familiekamer met grote ramen en comfortabele stoelen voor 9 personen. Grote keuken en eethoek.

Gestapelde wasmachine en droger. Anderhalve badkamer. De grote badkamer heeft een drempelvrije douche (geen badkuip) en een leuning aan de kruk. De half bad is verbonden met de slaapkamer.

Een flinke tuin met volwassen bomen, vuurplaats, picknicktafels en zitplaatsen in de buitenlucht geeft uw groep voldoende ruimte om te ontspannen en te spelen.

Slechts drie blokken van Stanley Johnston Memorial Park, op 15 minuten lopen naar het centrum van South Haven met zijn speciaalzaken en vele restaurants. Een blok van Oak Street Beach. Veel festivals, kunst en ambachtelijke beurzen en lokale activiteiten gedurende de zomer. Wijnproeverijen en rondleidingen zijn slechts een half uur per enkele reis.

Beddengoed, bad- en keukenhanddoeken worden geleverd. We hebben basisspecerijen en kruiden in de keuken. Evenals een starter aanbod van papieren producten. We hebben ook zandspeeltjes voor de kinderen om te gebruiken op het strand. Breng echter wel je eigen strandhanddoeken mee.

Dit was ons ouderlijk huis. Totdat we hier kunnen terugkeren als we met pensioen gaan, willen we het graag met je delen.

5 Stars Across the Board!

This was our second year staying at this property, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The house was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family of four. Just one block from Oak Beach, the location is perfect for quick and easy beach access. Communication with the property owner was always prompt and helpful, which made everything smooth from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to coming back again next year! Highly recommend.

Great location! Close to the beach. Plenty of room inside and out. Great yard for yard games, BBQ etc. Firepit was nice to have. Only wish there were beach chairs and umbrella for quests to use (for those of us who fly into Michigan).

Pros: Very near a lovely beach. Street was really nice and quiet. Neutral: House was fairly clean, but not entirely. Towels and bedding smelled of really strong detergent (but some people might like that). Cons: House smelled musty (like a wet basement type of smell). We kept the windows open the whole time (with the AC off) to keep the smell tolerable. After our first contact with the back room, we didn't enter that space again which has a direct connection to the basement. Overall, we had a decent enough stay.

A great home base in South Haven

South Haven is quaint and small. This house is quaint, but don't be fooled by the size based on curb appearance. It's plenty roomy, cozy, and comfortable. Plenty of drawer-closet space in the 3 bedrooms, and the kitchen is stocked probably better than yours (certainly mine!). We've rented dozens of places over the decades, and not a single other one comes close. Finally, the location is terrific...a 10-minute walk, or 2-minute drive to the places you want to be in S Haven itself, and 15 minutes to Saugatuck-Douglas. We also spent one day in Grand Rapids, and were in downtown in under an hour. Simply put, you won't go wrong if you make this house your home base for exploring the region.

Perfect Week!

Our family of four stayed for a perfect week. Lou was above and beyond as a host, and the accommodations were exactly as advertised. We felt right at home. The proximity to Oak Beach was perfect for our family (even with little legs). And the beach was phenomenal. The outdoor shower at the house was very convenient!

South Haven Cottage

Lou communicated well throughout the reservation process and during the stay. We had no issues during our stay and felt like we got a great value for the price we paid. The property is older and shows signs of age but that should not discourage you from staying. It is a perfect location within walking distance to the beach, to town, and just a generally great neighborhood to walk. The yard is fantastic and we spent every evening playing cornhole and having a fire. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was fantastic, and the water quality was good and soft. The fridge has plenty of room and the ice maker works great. Lou's property has everything you need to make it a fantastic vacation! Thank you Lou! We hope to return next year!!! My only complaints (and they are small) The bathroom needs a fan as it gets very steamy and has no ventilation. There are no extra towels or washcloths so plan to bring along some laundry soap and wash towels mid vacation. There are no lawn games nor beach supplies. Not a huge deal but plan to bring all of those items yourself.

Excellent beach vacation!

We had so much fun during our trip. The house is great, and has an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from Oak Beach on the north side of South Haven. Quiet neighborhood, close to all amenities. Lou is a very thoughtful host! We will definitely be back here for our next South Haven trip as a family.

Love the location!

House met our needs and had a great yard! We especially appreciated the variety of sitting areas outside and the outdoor shower. We came with our 3 young kids and the older 2 loved the twin beds with the Marvel theme! We are probably hyper-sensitive to this since we have a 10 month old who can crawl and not yet walk, but the floors were not clean when we arrived. We noticed his knees turning brown so we were thankful to find the Swiffer to be able to clean the floors ourselves. Admittedly, if we didn’t have a crawling baby, we probably would not have noticed or otherwise cared. The outdoor grill was great to have and we loved the proximity to the beach! There was a day with rain in the morning and we were able to get there as soon as it stopped and we had Oak Beach all to ourselves for almost an hour. Cannot overstate the value of being this close to the beach - we stayed in South Haven last year at a different house further inland and I would choose this house every time. Loved walking to North Beach and Bunde’s almost daily…pastries, yum!

We enjoyed the quiet area and short walk to small beach. The larger beaches and more bustling area are within walking distance as well but we liked that this property was just on the outskirts of all of that. Short vacation

The cottage was in a very convenient location; in walking distance from Oak Beach. It was spacious, with 3 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths, and a large kitchen. There were 2 large TV’s, with plenty of channels for rainy days. It was also very affordable. The house was a little shabby, and could use some updates, ut it was great for the price.

We have rented several other properties in the area over the years and still love Prices on Park after our second stay! Cute, comfortable, FANTASTIC yard and under 5 minute walk to the beach makes this place perfect!!! We reached out to the owner on a non-urgent issue and got both an immediate response and resolution in less than an hour.

House was in the perfect location - our littles has a great time using their scooters to get to all the neighborhood beaches! Home was just as described and photos were accurate! The extra large side yard was great for our family along with the outdoor shower and back entrance for after the beach!

Lou was very responsive when I had questions and provided a binder of helpful tips and instructions upon check in! Check-in/out was simple! The location could not have been better; 5 minute walk to beach and about 20 minute walk to downtown area! The house had plenty of room for all 6 of us to hang around together and the yard was perfect! The house itself was a little old fashioned with lots of quirks! A great place for a group to gather.
