Strandhotels in South Huron

'For an older crowd this resort is perfect, it's private and quiet. The private beach access is beautiful and allows for a relaxing getaway. The amenities are a bit dated and the TV didn't work great (but mostly didn't matter since we were on vacation to get outside, it's just when you want some down time or when the weather was bad it had limited channels and the reception cut in and out). The indoor pool is nice but the hot tub filter wasn't working the first night we were there so the water...

'Loved the property. Restaurant and reception staff very helpful. Had dinner and breakfast at The Inn. Both meals were very good. Location is excellent. Only issue was the lack of air conditioning in our room. Advertised as having A/C but apparently not in every room. Since front desk staff gone at 5:00 there wasn’t any relief from the heat the first night. Housekeeping did give us a fan the next day but it was very loud. 'We absolutely loved our stay! The bed and breakfast is in a perfect location. It’s just a short walk to shops and restaurants, so we were able to leave the car and explore on foot. The hosts are wonderful! They’re so welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer any questions, which really helped us make the most of our visit.
