The Snug Cottage -Snug Harbor - East Matunuck, RI

Volledig gerenoveerd en eenvoudig schattig studio-huisje. Nieuwe centrale AC en warmte, keuken met fornuis, oven, koelkast, gootsteen, veel aanrechtruimte en kasten. The Snug Cottage is het hele jaar geopend! Uitgerust met borden, schalen en kookgerei. Eetgedeelte heeft een druppel blad tafel met plaats voor 5! Fantastisch comfortabel, nieuw tweepersoonsbed met traagschuim en onderin opslagbakken. Badkamer heeft een douchecabine en een pui. We hebben ook een buitendouche voor een gemakkelijke strandspoeling. Geniet van de zon, de schaduw en de zeebries van de twee dekken; één aan de voorkant van het huisje en één met een zeilschaduw aan de achterkant. The Snug Cottage ligt op slechts 1,6 km van East Matunuck State Beach met alle voorzieningen die het te bieden heeft. 5 andere stranden op minder dan 2 mijl afstand. Bezoek de beroemde restaurants in de omgeving en geniet van dineren aan de haven op slechts een steenworp afstand. Als vissen jouw passie is, staan ​​we tegenover zes jachthavens voor fantastische vissersbootcharters. Geniet ook van een aantal geweldige dagtrips naar Watch Hill, Newport, Jamestown, Block Island en Mystic of een van onze 6 lokale stranden!

The cottage is small but the perfect size for the two of us!We had zero issues and enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the fact that Matunuck Oyster Bar had a fire and was closed. Charming Cottage

My Ocean Fix @ the Snug Cottage!!! 🌊

From start to finish my first ever VRBO adventure @ the “Snug Cottage” in South Kingstown was seamless and enjoyable! The property was clean, well-maintained, beautifully landscaped in a great location, and all communications I made to Marnee, the owner, were returned promptly. She even sent me a Local Restaurant, Shops & Places to See & a Check-in Guide which were very helpful. I give my stay an A+ (except for two rainy days!)

A Perfect RI Escape

I had a wonderfully enjoyable escape to The Snug Cottage-- a very sweet retreat that's been thoughtfully furnished and well maintained by owner Marnee. The location is perfect -- only a mile to East Matunuck State Beach, 15 minute drive to Block Island Ferry (which is a day trip not to be missed), plus a choice of restaurants and many other beaches within a short driving distance. The weather was mixed with rain and sunshine during my visit and I still had a wonderful time. Can't wait to go back. PS if you do go to Block Island, get an Island Tour with Bruce at Oceanside Taxi, he's the best!

Delightful Stay

A perfect spot for a short getaway . This small studio sized cottage has everything you need including an outdoor shower . The location is perfect .. close to beach, restaurant and marina . The unit itself is very clean and stocked with fresh towels, comfy blanket and kitchen supplies.

Cozy stay

Even though we were there the weekend of a hurricane it was a lovely stay. The little kitchenette and close by restaurants allowed us to stay snuggled up indoors but still enjoy some fantastic seafood. Thanks!

Perfect base for 2 to explore Rhode Island

Snug cottage is snug indeed. It makes ingenious use of a very small space. It is well-equipped and clean, with wonderful outdoor space. The location is a five minute drive from East Matunuck State Beach and even closer to the excellent Matunuck Oyster Bar. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The refrigerator is small (1/2 size) so we did frequent food shopping at a nearby grocery store (about 10 minutes away). The memory foam mattress on the full size bed is very comfortable. One side of the bed is against the wall and has to be accessed from the other side or the foot of the bed. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
