"Great location, older property, carpets needed cleaned, welcoming for pets but needs cleaned better of previous dog hair. Needs some care-needs a screen on patio door. Tubs empty slow, need traps cleaned, patio nice but would be nice to have it cleaned of sand on deck amd chairs, "

"House is older, has a lot of potential. Furniture needs to be moved when staff comes in to clean, I had to move the recliner to get something I dropped and under it to as obvious it had not been vacuumed in some time. Washing machine tray was hideous and would not work, I had to clean it just so I could clean my clothing, Temperature was difficult to navigate as the owners were out of area and had control over it so it was too hot or too cold, This time of year is hard since we go through all seasons in one day. While I was there a pear company came and entered the home without my knowledge, only reason I knew is because he was there ready to leave when I pulled in and I asked who it was and he told us and said he was inside to just be careful around the perimeter as he just sprayed inside. A heads up on that would have been nice so I could have at least secured my things or even had arranged to stay. Garbage was an issue there were clear directions and it appeared they were not held up to by previous renter, there was a full bin outside. Due to high winds we woke up one day to that bin knocked over an spread all over the place. I had to take the time to pick it up from the grounds, which was gross. I enjoyed the area but maybe this time of year wasn’t the best plan of action. "

"Our family has stayed here for the past 3 years and we love it!! Let's just say that in addition to the beautiful view and great location, the caretakers and owner will do everything to make your visit amazing. Mike and Lisa are truly wonderful people. They make sure you have everything you need throughout your stay and even check in on you to see how things are going. We spend most of our time (12 hours/ day) exploring the OBX, but our special time is in the morning to watch the sunrise and the evenings to just listen to the waves. We are already planning to come back for our 4th year in a row!"

"My wife and I had planned to sneak away with our dogs in late January but Mother Nature decided to dump record snow on Nags Head that weekend. I called just to ask about moving up our reservation by a day but Ronni went all mother hen on me and said she didn’t love that idea because we could still be putting ourselves in danger and offered to move our dates back a bit. Incredible idea. We just got back. Weather was perfect for March. Weather was gorgeous. But the house was wonderful. Hardwood floors, so much natural light, incredibly clean. Pet friendly is an understatement. But that Crow’s Nest. Game changer. We are up there. Had drinks up there. See y’all next time. Ronni, you are awesome. "

"Curtain hanging off the rod in the MBR; No rug for after shower in the Mbath; TV remote in the LR doesn't work; Outer light over entrance door doesn't work; only one box of kleenex with 4 tissues in it; a little WD40 would fix the screen door to the balcony that doesn't slide at all; no room to hang clothes in the MBR bc of all the stuff and 2 large vacuums jammed in there; a 5 minute wipe-down of the filthy sliding glass doors would've done a lot to welcome us to the beautiful view; the MB shower has absolutely no grab bars which is a safely issue; the light over the MBR bed flickers off and on...mostly off; then there was the loud construction going on at midnight in the unit next door....."
