'There was some dog treats in restroom floor that housekeeping missed. The bed sheets had some very visible stains (should be replaced). One of the bed’s frame was loose. No laundry on site. parking on hotel parking lot was $7 additional fee.'

'The mattresses were filthy, old, and uncomfortable. The beds are up against the walls with hardly any walking room between. All of the a/c units have lopped off laundry detergent containers catching water which then is filled with mosquito larve. The shower had thick soap scum. No stay over housekeeping. The clothing dryer is out of order. The pool is a tiny, old, hole in the ground. Parking is a nightmare.'

'Great budget hotel option for South Padre. Rooms are a little outdated but everything worked fine and we loved having direct walking access to the beach which was our main priority. Easy walk to CVS just down the street for snacks, water, and toiletries.'

'Where to start? Me and my family usually go to island for 2-3 days we have been around to lots of hotels. We usually would stay at La Copa Inn but this time Peninsula had a better price so we decided to give it a try. We got the double deluxe with partial sea view. All I can say is our stay here was the best experience by far. The pool is actually warm and peaceful compared to La Copa (kids pool) is cold & always very packed!
