Put your group at 5100 Laguna Blvd and you have a decision to make every morning — head two blocks to Gulf beach access, or cross the street to the bay where the fishing for kids off the shore starts at the end of the block. Most South Padre Island rentals give you one or the other. Villas de Laguna, finished in 2025, sits right between them: a brand-new three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath two-level townhome sleeping 10 without an airbed, one of just four in this small quiet complex.
The Space:
The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots, pans, blender, and all utensils, opening directly into the living area so the cook stays part of the group. Smart TVs are set up in the master bedroom, the bunkroom, and the third guest bedroom as well.
Crisp white towels and linens are provided on all beds, and the tankless water heating system means no cold shower surprises. One honest note: the kitchen is fully stocked but not massive, however there is no dishwasher
The townhome comes stocked with a starter supply of coffee, creamer, sweetener, decaf, and tea, along with hand soaps, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, non-stick cooking spray, and salt and pepper — starter amounts only, not replenished.

SLEEPING (Up to 10 Guests)
Ground floor master bedroom has a King bed with an en suite full bath and walk-in all-tile shower so no stairs required if any in your party have mobility issues. Upstairs, the second bedroom has two full beds and the third bedroom — the bunkroom — has two built-in queen-sized bunks.
The two upstairs bedrooms share a jack-and-jill full bath with walk-in all new tile shower, meaning neither room requires a hallway trip to reach it. An airbed with pump is also provided if needed just bring bedding for that if you plan to use. The 10-guest maximum includes infants and babies.
THE OUTDOORS
There is a small space in front of the townhome to relax outside. The complex has a small fenced pool with lounge chairs, and pool heat is available from November through April for a small additional fee — see Policies below for details.
We do not provide beach gear, but a vendor on the beach rents chairs and an umbrella for $45 cash per day with no advance reservation needed. Don’t forget to bring your own charcoal if you plan to use the community BBQ pits by the street.
PARKING
Two off-street spaces are included at no charge — a golf cart counts as one vehicle. Street parking is available nearby if needed. Parking is always free here, which is not something the hotels on the island can say.
High-speed WiFi is included. Spectrum is the only provider on the island and service can be spotty — bring a personal hotspot on your cell if you have work that cannot wait.
If the network name SouthPadreTrips is not showing up, a power outage may have reset the router to factory settings; the default network name and password are on a sticker on top of the router, and unplugging it for a few minutes usually resolves it.
PETS
Up to 2 pets are welcome for a small additional fee — please read all house rules carefully before booking if you are bringing an animal, as there are specific requirements. Pets may not be in the common pool area, may not be on furniture, and may not be left alone to bark. Please pick up after your pet or a charge will apply. Undisclosed pets will result in eviction.
Please note we have all units here and other condos in addition nearby, and can accommodate more than one group — just ask, we would love to help!

POLICIES
Primary guest must be 23 or older and must be present at check-in. If you are under 23, you must contact us before booking — exceptions are possible but not guaranteed, and additional requirements apply.
A signed digital rental agreement and valid photo ID are required before check-in; door codes are not released without both. Strict cancellation policy applies. No unregistered guests, no extra vehicles. No smoking, no parties, no loud music at any time. This is not a party property — many thanks for understanding. The property is security patrolled at night
If you wish to have the pool heater turned on, there is a $25 per day fee charged after you book. You must agree to pay for pool heat for your entire stay.
The pool can take up to 8 hours to reach temperature, so you may want to request it the day before arrival. If outside temperatures are below 65°F, the pool is unlikely to heat sufficiently.

Please note that the primary guest must be at least 25 years old. A signed digital rental agreement and a valid photo ID are required before check-in; the door code will be sent by text by 3 PM on your arrival day. Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible, please inquire in advance.
