Family vacation in Texas

Fantastic place to stay! Beautiful home, great pool, and convenient location. SPI rental was very responsive and accommodating. Great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick family vacation down in Texas.

Great House!

It's was a nice cozy home for the weekend. Great pool & hot tub! The neighbors complain about the music, but overall it was a great time with family & friends.

Overall the home was very clean. Once we walked into the home it felt comfortable temperature wise escaping the heat, but there was an overwhelming smell of moth balls. There is no connection between the garage/laundry room to the main house which was a little inconvenient when accessing the pool/backyard or even doing a few loads of laundry. A basket to haul laundry up and down the stairs was provided! The pool temp was a little warmer than anticipated but we loved the privacy of the backyard. The backyard is beautiful and home decor is perfect. There are a few pool floating toys. We were informed the coffee pot was a general coffee pot with filters and upon arrival saw it had a Keurig as well. I would’ve preferred to know it had both so I wasn’t purchasing filters and ground coffee. The complimentary items provided were perfect. Easy access to anything and everything on South Padre Island. We definitely will be coming back.

Enjoyed everything about out stay. Great distance to the beach access. Pool was clean and big enough for our family. Loved the seating by the pool. Everything was clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Outside bathroom and laundry area was excellent. I would definitely book at Bahama again.

Overall it’s a great spot to stay but had to give a 4 star and not 5 because I felt it was super inconsiderate that lawn people came out to do lawn service (put new grass and plants in the back pool area) and took a little over 3 hours to finish up so we weren’t able to use the pool after getting back from the beach that morning because they were in the back, which the main reason we got the rental was because of the pool. I feel lawn service that last that long should have been scheduled when no one was renting the house. I’d understand if it was a quick grass cut 20-30 minutes but more than 3 hours no. Plus they had us blocked in with their truck when we were trying to leave to the store.

It is a very nice vacation home, the beds are very comfortable and it is located right in the heart of SPI. The only bad side is that you cannot be so loud because of noise complaints.

Great vacation house

We loved the cleanliness and decor of the house. There was so much attention to detail in pictures and furniture. The pool area was amazing and relaxing. The kitchen had many dishes, pots, pans, utensils and everything you can think of. The beds were very comfortable and full of pillows. Highly recommended!

Great place to hang out

We chose this place for our annual girls' trip (6 of us in total) because it had great gathering spots where we could just talk, read, and hang out, and it did not disappoint. It had excellent, quality patio furniture and an amazing pool. The living room had plenty of space for us all, too. I thought from the pictures that the dining room wouldn't be big enough for all 6 of us to gather to eat, but we all fit.

I highly recommend this place for families or a couples retreat.

The backyard and private pool is the highlight of the place. The large kitchen allows you to get together with fam and friends and all eat and talk together. We spent a birthday here and it was a great time. The only downside and it wasn't the owners fault but was that they were redoing the street so our vehicles left dusty and dirty everytime we arrived or left. Other than that I highly recommend this place for families or a couples retreat.

Great house!

Great house for the 2nd year in a row. Kids had a blast. It is conveniently located near beach access 11 so it just to a quick walk to get to the beach. The pool and backyard were great for hanging out with the family. The shower on the garage was great for rinsing off the sand. Can't wait until the next time!

This was our 2nd time staying at the "Whataburger House" My kids love it! Hot tub was HOT, pool was perfect & the house was clean & very spacious. SPI Rentals has great customer service. We had another vacation home through Airbnb & was disappointed, will stick with SPI Rentals from now on. Will definitely be back next year!

Excellent Island Getaway !!

The team was great communicating the ins and outs of the resources available to us and I can't say enough about the property. Very well kept and the setup that they have is pretty awesome !! The pool is a great size and the setup to fully enjoy the backyard is phenomenal! I won't hesitate to book at same property and w the great team at SPI Rentals in the near future!

Loved it.

Loved loved the house it was cute cozy my kids absolutely loved it. Very clean and set up beautifully. Kids had so much fun in the pool and hot tub. Had all the things for the kitchen at our disposal loved that it was close to the supermarket and liquor store lol, very close to the restaurants and the beach was in walking distance. Highly recommend this place price was good too. You won't be disappointed.

Great place near beach

Great stay near beach. Newly painted. Overall a great experience for our short stay. Pool was very dirty with a lot of sand upon arrival but pool was cleaned on our third day. Bathroom door next to kitchen stuck and was hard to open. Upstairs fan was not level in one of bedrooms causing it to be noisy.

Awesome stay, with one caveat

We loved our beachhouse on Bahama. Such a close walk for beach access, the pool and hot tub was awesome, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us, although the living room was a bit cramped. The deck and outdoor seating was excellent. My one complaint is that one of the beds appears to have a couple bed bugs, as two of the sisters ended up with bites on their face/neck/bellies when we were leaving. Only one was found though, and we checked all of the rest of the beds and they had mattress zippered mattress protectors.
