'Great position. Our room overlooked the harbour so we had great views. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s close to the main streets as well so ideally situated. Breakfast was great really tasty and ample. We would stay again for sure.'

'Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again.'

'Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept. Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible. Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared. We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't...

'I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly.'

'Parkeren was gratis en makkelijk, receptioniste was heel vridndelijk en snel, bar/ restaurant personeel zeer vriendelijk en snel. Ontbijt okk goed en lekker.'

'Very nice property, beautiful views of the beach and lake from the property, nice garden area to sit and relax. Parking for two cars was really helpful. Truro and Falmouth were good places to visit. Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. '

'The cottage was lovely. It had no Wi-Fi or 4g signal so planning the next days agenda was impossible until you drove out of the site. Also apart from the on site bar (the staff were wonderful) there was no where to walk easily to get something to eat. '

'This was our 2nd stay in this property and we feel it is showing signs of wear. The extractor fan switch in the bathroom is hanging off, the bath plug totally disintegrated, the mattress on the bottom bunk bed is really uncomfortable the springs can be seen as well as being felt. On the positive the property was clean with nice bedding and towels. Has a great selection of crockery, pans etc for self catering and we were able to enjoy the good weather sitting outside at the benches and table.'
