'Hotel has been refurbished downstairs in the main areas to a high standard, the patio area also. However the bedrooms are in need of some updating. Shower room had nowhere to put any cleaning stuff! The shower didn't work properly. Bed was really comfy. Great breakfasts maybe a bit expensive. This is constructive criticism, the place is great and I'd stay there again.'

All the staff very friendly including the owners. Within walking distance of Sidmouth town and the Sea. Can't wait for our next visit'

'The room was very clean and well furnished, rather warm but without air conditioning it would be in this unprecedented heat. Needed more room in bathroom to put out toiletries . The hotel staff were both helpful, friendly and professional. The Jubilee room was a great setting for breakfast , due to timescales ie booking in and out we were unable to use amenities and 1 nights stay is just not long enough. We will be booking longer next time. Pure Luxury and well worth the money.'

'The family room overlooking the sea on the second floor was spacious, with comfortable beds and lots of little extras in the room to make us feel welcome. The Inn's accommodation is above a large and busy restaurant, which was cheery, not leery, and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.'

'The location was very good. The double room booked was very small with a smaller than average double bed. Most disappointing was the very stained and dirty looking carpet. The bedding and towels were good quality and the new bathroom was nice with a good hot shower. The carpet spoiled the whole experience for me'

'Welcoming staff and nice bedroom overlooking Fore Street (can be noisy with passing traffic). Pub food good. Plenty of car parking.'

'Lovely staff, spotless hotel, and superb seafront location. Even our dog was given a breakfast sausage. Very friendly and welcoming. My only concern was that the hotel is advertised as having parking. Technically yes this is correct but it’s extremely limited and we were told it’s not available after booking.'

'The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.'
