Goede service, hele slechte bedden
Het is een wat ouder hotel maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Het was wel schoon en ondanks dat het raam openstond geen last gehad van geluiden. Ook in het hotel geen harde geluiden gehoord maar toch ongelofelijk slecht geslapen want de bedden zijn verschrikkelijk!. Afgezien van het feit dat het bed niet breed en ook niet lang is voelde wij allebei de spiralen in het matras. Elke uur wakker geworden met pijn in mijn hele lijf. Als ze de bedden vernieuwen kom ik zeker terug en anders helaas niet.

Hotel vlak aan de weg
Aardig hotel, kleine kamer, vriendelijk personeel, aan de straatkant veel verkeerslawaai. Het ontbijt was duur en niet geweldig. In de straat kan je verser en voordeliger ontbijten.

Prima kamer, prima badkamer. Fijn is dat je je auto gratis bij het hotel kunt parkeren. Het ligt buiten het centrum.

Prima hotel.
De eerste nacht veel lawaai van de buren (harde "muziek". Bij de receptie ondernamen ze eerst geen actie, toen in in mijn nachtjapon ging klagen hebben ze de buren wel verzocht stiller te zijn. Om half 5 's nachts begon de herrie echter opnieuw. Compensatie voor de slechte nacht heb ik niet gekregen. De kamer was prima, Het bed was goed en de badkamer ook. We hadden geen ontbijt genomen omdat we op familiebezoek waren.

The only thing that was negative was the uncomfortable bed! We had a room with two single beds and mine was lumpy and uncomfortable!

Comfortable & convenient
Hotel decor is a bit dated but we found it clean and comfortable. On-site restaurant was closed but there are lot of food options round the corner. Very convenient location and free onsite parking.

I wouldn’t stay they again. They show pictures of a spacious restaurant and conference room but omit to tell you it’s all closed because of Covid. One of my worst stays and I e used Hotels.com for about 8 years.

All hotels had to close restaurants and any sort of public stay areas during the pandemic, it was not just us, You had the cheapest room reserved and you did not like it but we offered a FREE upgrade to a new, modern, refurbished Deluxe Room and it took 5 hours to get ahold of you to actually switch your room. If you send a message to say something is wrong and you don't let us help, there is literally nothing anyone can do. We are always willing to help our guests and always try to make sure everyone is happy and that is why most people return quite often. We wish the other hotels you'll be staying at the best of luck !

Great customer service.
The hotel itself was exactly as expected in terms of location and interior, based on the photos available on this website. The room was also mostly very clean, apart from a couple of hairs on the pillows. Check-in and check-out were both quick and seamless. The most notable aspect of my stay thought was that a very raucous couple were in the room below me preventing me from getting to sleep. I went to reception at about 23:00 and the staff were incredibly apologetic, and immediately moved me to a different room free of charge, even coming with me to check that the room was quiet before putting me there.

Great place to stay.
Hotel.com advertised it as breakfast available (at extra cost) but wasn't. Breakfast was a decider for this hotel. Good to have local café nearby. Room was good for 1 or 2 nights but noisy at night.

If people get noisy at night just let the reception team know. Very close to us are 2 huge supermarkets, many diners, cafes, restaurants and bars. The closest one is literally next to us and most are within less than 5 minutes walking distance. During Covid19 we were not allowed to serve food, same as any other hotel, we wish it could have been different. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us !

disabled persons stay
I checked in later than expected, a little difficult getting my wheelchair through the front door but quickly resolved. Had a warm welcome and helped to my room which had been upgraded due to my disability. At no extra charge - thank you! It was difficult to get my chair into the room and turn it around for exiting. Not impossible though and it spent the night charging in the wardrobe alcove. The room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom with the slight exception of staining in the toilet which on first impression looks as though it needs flushing. I can highly recommend the use of a lime scale remover to restore whiteness. Overall a very pleasant experience and the perfect end to a very exiting day - got engaged after 13 years widowhood.

Review of stay
The place could do with a paint and new carpet, looked very tired but the bed was great. I didn't realise that we would be near the restaurant, the noise was really loud until quite late. The room was very hot and we had a hard time sleeping as a result. Had the air con on but the strength wasn't much so could barely feel it - an instruction manual would have helped!

Good tea and coffee facilities. Nice shower. Bed too small and a smell of smoke in room on third night. Very noisy outside and windows didn’t shut properly. Lovely lady working on our arrival and Christmas Day evening.
