Great, friendly staff. Lovely room and bathroom. The stand alone bath and big shower were was so nice. Everything well presented, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was decent if not outstanding. The thatched buildings are well preserved. Next to beautiful fields though fairly busy roads nearby so not totally quite but peaceful enough. Shame the TV was not a Smart TV. The toilet seat was wobbly and toilet handle a bit faulty but this didn't distract from a recommended stay.

Fantastic stay, only one night, which was only spoilt by the two cleaning ladies having a load conversation, without thought for guests outside our door! Everything else was memorable, check in was welcoming and efficient, with impeccable manners shown

Great place to stay close to Southampton
Weekend at The Pilgrim as a base to visit Southampton, Christmas Market. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and the room was a good size and spotless, breakfast was excellent with a good number of options available. Had an enjoyable stay and would recommend The Pilgrim as a place to stay close to Southampton.

Loved my double room, clean, tidy, spacious, with a comfy bed. Lovely bathroom with selection of products. Artisan coffee was beautiful with chocolates left. Close to road but was surprisingly quiet. Will be again as convenient with pub doing great food in a lovely cottagy feel environment. Just perfect x

Brilliant
Cannot fault our stay. The accommodation is separate to the main pub therefire we were not disturbed. Quaint thatched roof building. Room clean large and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal was great. good location for our visit to Beaulieu. Highly recommended

Great room let down by the cleanliness
Absolutely stunning room, let down badly by how dirty it was. The bedroom & bathroom floors has not been vacuumed before my arrival & the sides/skirting boards in the bathroom were stained & coverd in dust. I complained to the manager on day 7 of my 10 day stay about this & the fact there was no milk in the room again for a drink after comming back from work was something done. Basically the cleaners had just been making the bed every morning & nothing else.

Room size very good, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, but the linen was stained and a pillow case had opened on one of the seams. Quiet at night, but positioned between two roads.

Overal it suited the purpose. The main problem was the odour in the hallway to our room. It smelt like dog urine but not sure. Rooms do experience some road noise as two busy roads either side of property FYI Dinner again was OK. The menu in the room for the bar/pub was different to the one in the bar/pub. Obviously an old version. Parking was good and there was enough space

Nice hotel. Room generally clean and tidy. Cobweb behind door in bathroom and curtains in bedroom missing loads of hooks so looked a little tatty. Staff nice and check in quick and easy. Food in pub was good.

Great stay and very well looked after
The hotel was lovey unfortunately the Wi-Fi wasn’t working correctly on the call bell from hotel to pub, so we had a bit of a wait. Once shown to our rooms they were lovely, very comfortable and very well equipped. The staff were lovely and they catered beautifully for us and our dog that we took with us.

该酒店整体住宿体验一般。房间有很重的难闻的气味儿；没有空调，晚上还是有一点儿热；马桶的水非常小，根本冲不了马桶，服务员看过以后也没办法解决，给了一个水瓢接水冲马桶，说是第二天找专业人员来解决，结果住了两个晚，截止退房也没有解决这个问题。洗脸池热水和冷水是通过两个水龙头流出的，并且两个水龙头的距离有点远，使用起来非常不方便，这种奇葩的设计我是第一次见到。

Good afternoon,Unfortunately due to the layout of our hotel we are unable to have air-con in all rooms so we only have them on our first floor. These rooms can be requested but are subject to availability.I can only apologise for the toilet not flushing properly. Unfortunately we have no control over plumbing issues. Whilst we always do everything we can to resolve these issues, this is usually left in the hands of the plumbers & when they can attend the site but I'm sorry that on this occasion, it wasn't fixed during your stay.Kind regardsKirsty

Super hôtel, le personnel si bien de l’hôtel que du restaurant / pub est très agréable. L’hôtel est calme, notre chambre sans doute rénovée il y a peu était super et le petit déjeuné est délicieux ( les repas également ). Seule critique 25livres pour un lit d’appoint qui ne les mérite pas car le lit est vraiment de basse qualité et sans aucun confort. Notre fille de 4 an n’a pas aimé, et il manque d’insonorisation entre les étages ( sans doute difficile eu égard à l’âge du bâtiment ). Sinon vraiment top, cela nous plonge dans une Angleterre très typique avec des locaux qui fréquentent le pub.

A Nice Place to Stay
We stayed here in room 12 for the Beaulieu Supercar Weekend in early August. Our room was a little dark but not an issue. We struggled to get comfortable in the bed but maybe that was just us. The tea and coffee facilities were good but the coffee pods were unlabelled and so we didnt use them. The bathroom was excellent and the shower was outstanding. There is a lovely victorian style free standing bath but beware! The management have decided to secure all the soaps and shampoos to the wall near the sink and in the shower, which means once you are in the bath (no Bubble bath) you have no soaps! Meals across the way in the pub are pleasing but not outstanding, although the service staff in there were fantastic.
