'The staff was helpful and the lobby & breakfast room were nicely decorated for fall and clean. My "key" deactivated, and the staff was nice to reactivate it. This city does have an active railroad, so trains are heard. I wasn't fond of all the potholes in the parking lot. Overall, my stay was fine in this older hotel.'
'Check in took a LONG time...15 plus minutes. We discovered after pulling the bedding down for the night that one side of the sheet had a huge hole. My husband got his foot caught in it. Even if we would have wanted to call the front desk...no phone. The shower had hair from other guests in it. How do you miss that much hair when cleaning???? Our room phone didn't work or even have a cord connected to it and we had an emergency and had to call for an ambulance. Thank goodness for cell phones! Due...
'The facility is an old hotel whose rooms have been updated. They still have the creaky old floors, though there are rugs on them now. We choose to stay there knowing that, and because it was one block away from the Nauvoo Temple. The bed was great. We had to drive to another facility where we checked in and where the free breakfast was.'
