'Very easy going and comfortable hotel, beautifully located alongthe river Tweed. It’s well worth staying a couple of nights and use the hotel as a base for some beautiful hikes and sight-seeing. We loved the food in the restaurant. Best we had in Schotland. Feesh fish, crispy vegetables and a great breakfast ontbe 1st floor with a stunning view in the river. You can even bring your dogs!'

'Hut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!'

'It’s a lovely, quaint place. It was quite remote but that’s just the way we like it.
The rooms were immaculate, extremely modern and tastefully decorated.
A traditional style wee bar which added to our experience. The food was great: staff were superb being both friendly and attentive.
I will return when in the Borders.
Ps the locals who were in the pub added to a great atmosphere.

Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.'

"De sfeer en de ambiance is uniek het ontbijt is lekker en voldoende. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Wij verbleven met z'n 3-en in een suite (voor 1 nachtje). Kamer is echt heel toch met leuke gimmicks aanrader. Bedmatras is zacht daar moet je van houden."
"Booked a long weekend for 6 people. Separate 2-person rooms with breakfast. We were able to temporarily park our luggage upon arrival before checking in, which was very nice. We were greeted politely at check-in. The hotel room was equipped with various amenities, a good bed with clean bedding. Large TV with play station. Well maintained and clean. Breakfast was neat, with various options, but mainly focused on the English breakfast. We received compensation after the breakfast was incomplete, neatly arranged! Close to all the beautiful things to see in Edinburgh, public transport nearby. The only disadvantage was the very noisy 6-sisters, loud music."
"Goed hotel. Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Restaurant en bar zijn ook goed en betaalbaar. De kamer was netjes en ruim genoeg met moderne badkamer met thermostaatkraan wat echt fijn is. Ontbijt was ruim in keuze en men kan hier tegen betaling ook lunchen en dineren.Dit hotel kan ik echt aanraden voor degenen die het niet erg vindt om wat verder ( 18 minuten met de bus of 12 minuten met de taxi ) van het centrum te verblijven. Wij gaan zeker terug en zullen weer dit hotel kiezen "

Taxi ging ook goed en was ook zeker niet te duur. Kortom wij hebben een hele mooie vakantie gehad in Edinburgh."
