'The parking was really easy and free! It was very easy to communicate with our hosts and they responded to everything we needed. It was a comfortable room and quiet. I wish our room hadn't been right outside the coffee making machine but it ended up that there was plenty of privacy. The location was perfect. '

'I stayed here two nights and it was super comfortable. I lived in a provided bathrobe basically the entire time I was on the property. It’s definitely quiet and for quiet guests as it’s an older property. I really enjoyed the charm and especially the proximity to the Nelson Atkins museum.
My room had an adorable wood burning fireplace that is available for guest use but I opted for the radiator space heater that was in the closet.
I was travelling alone and I mostly kept to myself but there...

'The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. Staff are super friendly. The only down side is that there is a gas station right next to the property and all the noise filtered right into our room. Blaring music, fights, people yelling, we heard it all! Other than that, very nice hotel and good value for the price. '

'The hotel itself was not terrible, but the room had an awful smell. Our first night we got in really late and didn't have the energy to ask for a different room and just hoped it would go away on its own. Unfortunately it did not. When we got home all of our clothes and the inside of our suitcase still had the smell.'

'It was nice enough for what we needed. The beds were not comfortable for me, and they cut off breakfast too early. Breakfast was pretty bland and very basic, processed eggs and cereal. It was fairly clean. I've stayed in worse places but will try something else next time.'

'The bar staff, service, and drink prices were excellent! Our room was clean and the lobby was nice. All staff were courteous during our entire stay. The disappointment was the pool and workout areas. The pool was cloudy and did not look like it had been cleaned in a while and the workout area smelled bad. The rating would have been higher if not for these two areas. Breakfast is your standard, continental affair and fed us for free before hitting the road.'
