Birdsong Cottage ligt achter de 114 W. West St hoofdgebouw en toegankelijk via een zijtuin poort en pad.

Het huisje is ideaal gelegen in het hart van het historische Southport - op korte loopafstand van alle leuke antiekwinkels, chique boetieks en relaxte visrestaurants en bars aan de rivier.

De stranden van Oak Island liggen op 10 minuten afstand. Bald Head Island en de stranden van Pleasure Island: Carolina Beach, Kure Beach en Fort Fisher liggen op slechts 20 minuten varen met de veerboot van Southport. De veerboot ligt op 6 minuten van het huisje.

Outstanding !! So clean and convienent! It was so “homey” and the gift basket of wine and cheese from the Southport cheese shop was so sweet. Just a block from downtown Southport-we could and did walk everywhere. We will definitely be staying here again!!! I hope soon.

A hidden gem of a stay—literally. If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and charming cottage that is tucked away and secluded, yet located in the heart of Historic Southport, this is the perfect spot. The hosts were wonderful; they greeted us upon arrival and guided us down the brick pathway to the cottage. After that, we were free to explore Southport’s shops, restaurants, and, of course, the port and shoreline. A welcome basket with a bottle of wine and a small charcuterie board provided a thoughtful and inviting touch. The cottage was stocked with plenty of plush towels, as well as beach blankets and towels. Having a clothes washer and dryer in the cottage was a bonus for us, along with a designated parking spot. Check-out was easy and seamless.

Perfect location to walk to everything. Such a lovely and comfortable home. The hosts go above and beyond with their welcome and what they provide. I had a wonderful stay at the Bird Song Bungalow! The owner, Kelly, was incredibly sweet—she even stood in the rain waiting for me to arrive so I wouldn’t miss the property. The location is perfect: close to everything in Southport and easily walkable. I felt very safe, and the street is quiet and adorable.The bungalow itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. I was welcomed with a thoughtful basket of wine, crackers, and cheese, which was such a lovely touch. The bed was super comfortable, and Kelly truly thought of everything when it comes to amenities—she had all the essentials and more.I’m already looking forward to staying again soon. Don’t miss this perfect location and amazing lodging!

Kelly and Robert are amazing! Kelly answered all of our questions immediately and she was gracious enough to let us check in a day early at a last minute’s notice. The cottage was so cute and sweet. My husband and I felt at home and were very cozy. There was a beautiful welcome basket that included local cheeses and a bottle of wine. They thought of everything! It was very clean and located in a perfect area that is close to the water front and town. Thank you making our stay in Southport so memorable! The pictures below are a 10 minute walk from the cottage.

We truly enjoyed our 2 day stay at Birdsong Cottage in Southport NC. Check-in was easy and we had a designated off street parking spot. The house was close to everything including shopping, dining, and art galleries. It was a quick walk to the water where you could sit on benches or swings and enjoy the view. Kelly had a bottle of wine and a wonderful little charcuterie box as a welcoming gift and was on site in case we needed anything. Casual dining at Provisions was fun, but our special anniversary dinner at Edgewater was outstanding! We enjoyed.every bite and all the restaurants were an easy walk. We would definitely return here for another visit!
