Deze prachtige nieuwe waterkant huis is momenteel beschikbaar voor seizoensgebonden verhuur. Het is gebouwd om het prachtige uitzicht op Southwest Harbor en de buitenlandse eilanden te omarmen. Wake up elke ochtend tot sensationele zonsopgangen en neem je koffie uit om de scène te genieten op de glazen in het tweede verhaaldek.
Kijk de getijden komen en ga direct vanaf uw comfortabel ingerichte King size slaapkamer met flatscreen TV / DVD. Dit huis beschikt over twee grote slaapkamers, dubbele wastafel badkamer en wasruimte op de eerste verdieping. De tweede slaapkamer is een zeer grote "stapelbed" met 3 tweepersoonsbedden, flatscreen TV / DVD en een Xbox gaming systeem. De tweede verdieping is geopend met een balkenplafond en 3 grote plafondventilatoren, grote ramen met uitzicht op de haven en een mooie glazen in dek met adirondack-stoelen. De Monson leisteenkeuken is ook op de tweede verdieping en bevat een vaatwasser. Een half bad is ook op de tweede verdieping voor het gemak van het onderhoud. Dit huis is mooi ingericht met lokale Maine producten, en zeer comfortabele meubels. We hebben veel boeken, reisgidsen, spelletjes en dvd's opgenomen om uw verblijf comfortabeler te maken. Het gazon is mooi en groot en gaat direct naar de oceaanzijde met grote rotsen om te zitten en te kijken naar de komst en de overgang van de lokale vogels en de mariene aspecten van de haven. Er is ook een gedeelde vuurpit en adirondack stoelen die langs de kust zijn samen met een openlucht diner set en gas grill. Kajaks kunnen vanaf deze plek tijdens hoogwater worden gelanceerd.

Dit spectaculaire huis ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het dorp SWH en alles wat het te bieden heeft! Vele fijne restaurants, fietswinkel, ijssalon, specialiteitenwinkel, galeries, winkels, tennisbanen en busstation. We hebben ruime parkeerplaatsen en liggen naast de haven van Great Harbour, waar u veel verschillende soorten havencruises kunt boeken. We zijn ook in de nabijheid van Seawall, Bass Harbor Head Light, Echo Lake, en Somes sound. Dit is een uniek huis en zal alleen voor een beperkte tijd beschikbaar zijn

Beautiful and comfortable home! Amazing harbor and sunrise views from master bedroom on the first floor and the living space on the second floor. Within walking distance of a couple restaurants. Quaint shops about 3 mins drive away. Great location to explore Acadia National Park on west and east side of Mount Dessert Island. The host (Christine) was wonderful and responded quickly to our concerns. A terrific place, especially in October!

What a lovely place. The kids were able to run down to the shore and throw rocks and explore. It was close to Acadia and other little day trips like the Cranberry Isles or deer isle. Christie thought of everything we would need. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the views were amazing.

This is an awesome place to stay if visiting southwest harbor! It is out of the hustle and bustle of bar harbor, but only a short drive to hikes, Acadia, and the bar harbor town as well. Great little-big cottage!

Loved the craftsmanship of the cottage and the views were beautiful. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen and huge bathroom would maybe add some towel rings for hand towels in main bath. Loved Southwest Harbor and location was walkable to downtown and many restaurants. 20ish min drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Christie was awesome and even got lobster cooked to delivered to our place. Thanks for the stay in your beautiful cottage would love to come back!

Charming Cottage - Anniversary Retreat

Acadia has so much to offer and this home brings just as much with the updated living, amazing sunrises from your bed, beach access, and more. Having town in walking distance was a great bonus to walk over for breakfast or later in the evening for drinks. Our host was great with easy communication and clear instructions for check in and out! The only improvement suggestion is a coat hanger or rack when you walk in the home :)

The Lupine Cottage was lovely, right on the water, and in a fabulous location. The quiet side of Mount Desert Island is fantastic, particularly Southwest Harbor. We would definitely stay again!

A wonderful stay

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay in this house while visiting Acadia National Park! It is very updated, very clean and super well stocked. The weather was not ideal during our stay, but we still enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the harbor in the rain and fog, very relaxing. Very close to the village of SWH, a grocery store and a few nice restaurants. Communication with the host was quick and smooth. Highly recommend.

WHAT A GEM!

We had an excellent vacation in this quiet and relaxing VRBO! The view from the master bedroom is fabulous and from the upper deck as well! The owner is easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything necessary for our stay! It has all the comforts of home and such unique and beautiful accessories throughout the entire house. It’s tucked back from all the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return one day soon!!

Another great stay!

This is our 4th year staying at this property in Southwest Harbor and as always, it was clean, comfortable and a great home away from home on vacation. Christie really keeps the house and amenities nicely updated, and this year we especially enjoyed the fire pit and the grilling area. The view from the house is amazing, and the walkable location to downtown is so convenient. This year, we also had friends stay at the cottage on the property and everyone had a great time. 5 stars are not enough for this property!

Magical Family Adventure

We had such a magical vacation with our 5 year old. The house is located in a great spot. Walkable to some restaurants, bakery and shops. And close to Wonderland and Ships Harbor which are so fun to explore with kids. Close enough to bar harbor and Acadia carriage roads to make a morning or afternoon adventure. We had fun going to Beech Hill Farm and grabbing some produce for dinner on the deck with view of the harbor. The House has a rocky beach out front which was fun to explore at low tide. Overall this was the perfect family vacation. The house is very well equipped, clean and communication with the host was very helpful and responsive. Hope to come back next summer!
