'It was a cold and windy day. We got there late and couldn’t figure out the heat but contacted the staff an do he helped us out quickly. There were two big kangaroo in the yard in the morning. It was fun to watch them. It was nice to be able to use the laundry. We had a great stay but for the weather.'

'We had a wonderful stay at The Swell in Cape Bridgewater. The tiny house was modern, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was thoughtfully designed, making great use of the space while still feeling cosy and relaxing. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind, and we really enjoyed our time there. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway and would happily stay again.'

'An absolute gem. One of those rare places that is designed and maintained with genuine care and highest standards. Expansive views of the unspoiled countryside with the ocean sparkling in the distance. The roomy soaking tub and wood-burning stove were soul-filling after being out for walks in the cool June weather. Mark and his dogs led us to see a koala nestled in one of their majestic trees. Gorgeous grounds and friendliest hosts we've encountered on our travels. We will be back.'

'Everything was clean & accomodating staff. I particularly liked the bushy surrounds and access to the beach. For food you'll need to go to Portland and take a container to fill with drinking water for a drink and if you want a cuppa when you arrive. I used the tourist information brochure to plan my sightseeing for the next day. I would go again on my way to or from Adelaide. '
