'What a lovely place to spend the night! Quiet little cottage with a comfortable bed and good reading light. Really enjoyed watching the sunset and walking the steep stairs down to and up from the lake. The town of North East is nearby, although I stayed on my cabin porch and adjacent picnic table for dinner. I would definitely return.'

'The only negative that I have is that the a/c unit for our room ( number 25) seemed a bit overwhelmed later in the day if the temperature got in the upper 80s. Great stay other than that.'

'It’s a comfortable but inexpensive place.Quiet too.Everything works AC,hot water, toilet etc.Beds are clean and comfortable.No odors like most hotels have.This place is a gem to me.The woman at the front desk is friendly and interesting to talk to also.'

'The gotel is in the process of updating. It was a pretty good value for a place to flop which is what we wanted. The buulding is quite dated but the rooms arw huge compared to today's modern hotels. We did not like the road noise from the highway as we were in a room in the rear nearest the highway. Very friendlt staff, totally retro building. We will stay again. Also, the name has changed to The Red Carpet Inn.'
