'We had an amazing time staying at Allercott Farm. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very peaceful at night, and you’re right in the middle of Exmoor so you can drive for around 20 minutes any way at all and find yourself at one of the many walks. Hosts were awfully lovely, as were their several friendly dogs who were keen to say hello. We’d absolutely consider staying again sometime to visit more of the national park. 😊'

'The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again '

'De locatie is absoluut prachtig. Tussen de heuvels en weilanden in, maar op rijafstand van alle belangrijke voorzieningen en mooie plekjes om te bezoeken. We hadden onze hond ook mee en die heeft naar hartenlust kunnen rennen. Het huisje was schoon, netjes en de jacuzzi een absoluut pluspunt. Ook de aanwezige bbq heeft gezorgd voor heerlijke maaltijden. De eigenaresse en haar familie doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te maken, geven veel informatie en zijn super gastvrij. 'What a lovely cottage. We arrived a bit later than expected but Paul and Jill were still waiting for us. A real warm welcome. The cottage is beautiful. Very clean and with everything you need. There was even some coffee, tea and biscuits. The beds and rain shower are really nice. The location of the cottage is perfect to visit Weston-super-mare. Or bath. It lies on a hill so the view is really nice. The old Inn in Hutton is a nice place to eat. We can recommend this cottage and its host!! '

'Really nice stay for a “rest and recharge” getaway. The shepherds hut was exactly as the pictures - clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners had a folder with all the useful information we would need during our stay (how to use the hot tub, location for waste and recycling bins, nearby public footpaths etc). A nice secluded area from the rest of the property to allow for privacy. I would definitely recommend and consider again for a couple’s holiday. '

'The property was very well equipped & in a lovely position on the site. It was very peaceful. The couple of queries we had were immediately resolved by the reception staff. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. '

'Lovely 1st floor flat, very close to the beach with easy beach access which was what we wanted. The flat is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we were very happy there was a large fan keeping us cool as it was a hot week! The beds are nice and comfortable, bathroom is large and modern, living room has digital tv and wifi. The host was easy to communicate with and left lots of DVD's to watch if we wanted. We appreciated the welcome package of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and chocolate!...

'Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake! A very nice...

We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property.
