The court is called "La Corte dei Mesci," or the court of the masters. Inside there are five lodgings dedicated to five different trades of antiquity.
In this accommodation, we present "E Mesce," which in the Salento dialect were the women who created fabrics with great skill using "U Talari"(Loom), skilled in tobacco processing and olive and wheat harvesting, but not only that, E Mesce were an integral part of the lives of the master craftsmen assisting them in all their work and domestic life by taking care of their children and providing daily meals.
