My granddaughter and I stayed at this beautiful hotel in mid April and from the moment we stepped into the hotel we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! We were given a warm welcome by the owners and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We had the family suite which consisted of two bedrooms, one being up a small flight of internal stairs. They were beautifully furnished with both double/king beds being extremely comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities were available along with a small fridge. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is within the palace walls with narrow streets and stunning architecture. We were fortunate enough to have very hot weather but our surrounding were cool and very pleasant. Breakfast is taken in a nearby restaurant nestled in a courtyard and was so delicious we spent more than an hour there every morning. The hotel terrace was equally inviting for a late evening glass of wine. All in all an amazing short break and we would not hesitate in recommending Heritage Hotel Cardo!

Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel and the staff. Hotel is perfectly located, very comfortable, in perfect condition and the staff are the nicest people ever. One of my favorite hotel experiences in my life!!!

The property is gorgeous. The staff are friendly, helpful, kind, and thorough. The location is perfect and amazing - close to everything and within the Palace Walls. The rooms were gorgeous. I just wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was exceptional and SO yummy! Would definitely recommend and would go back in an instant!

위치가 정말 좋았어요. 직원들이 친절하고 방의 분위기좋고 깨끗했습니다. 조식은 외부에서 먹었는데 뷔페는 아니지만 맛도 좋았고 배가 불러서 전부 다 먹지도 못했어요. 주차는 외부에 해야 하지만 전날 부터 언제 도착하는지 체크하고 도착해서도 어려움없이 빠르게 처리해주었습니다. 호텔에 옷을 두고 와서 DHL로 받았는데 처리 과정에서 직원의 친절함에 감동했습니다. 영어를 못하는 저를 위해 배려하고 세심하게 처리해 주었습니다. 다시한번 스플리트에 간다면 묵고싶은 호텔입니다. 감동했습니다. ^^

Everything about this place was fabulous. The hospitality was top-notch, the location within Diocletian palace is incomparable. The room I was in had a window that looked out into the square where there was constant activity. It wasn’t quiet (tourists, church bells, trumpets and actors portraying Romans, musicians/dancing in the evening), but it was special. Lovely breakfast included, as well as extraordinarily accommodating staff. A wonderful way to experience the magic of old town Split.

Absolutely perfect honeymoon
We stayed here for the end of our honeymoon and couldn't have found anything better. The staff are all so friendly and go over and above to make sure your stay is perfect. So many little touches to make things special. They were very helpful arranging restaurant reservations and private tours. The location is also brilliant as everything is within a short walking distance. We would go back here again and will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

5-room hotel, they did not even offer bottled water instead the night manager told us to drink tap water. Breakfast was good, but you had to walk outside to a nearby restaurant. The room was super small, Yotel rooms in an airport are larger. This hotel is not worth anything more than $150 per night. The positive was the daytime shift manager, she was warm and courteous. Sorry I forgot her name. Expedia misled us with advertising this hotel and this was not worth the price, PERIOD.

Best boutique hotel in Split.
This is a perfect boutique hotel in the heart is Split. I could not have asked for better service! They helped with dinner suggestions, transportation, and tours. Breakfast was amazing!

Fantastic Service and beautifully decorated
The front desk service is amazing, Josip, Edita and Ivan went above and beyond to make our stay special in every way. The location is fantastic, right in the old city. Our room was beautifully decorated but very small and noisy at night. Next time we will request one of the bigger rooms that is not over the walkway. We highly recommend!

Our stay at the Heritage Cardo Hotel was excellent! Evan, Adita and Bruno made us feel very welcome indeed! They were all very helpful with tour bookings, dinner recommendations and transfers. We felt as if we were valued guests and looked after us very well. Adita made us feel like friends not just guests. The hotel itself was very special due to its history and its immaculate restoration. The location in the middle of the Diocletian’s Palace was very unique and it was a quick and easy walk to wherever we wanted to go. We would highly recommend this hotel!! Not only was it a unique experience due to it’s history and location, the pleasant and very helpful staff completed the experience and made our time in Split very memorable!
