Had wonderful stay at the Malena Palace. Room was large, brand new, and spotless. Location is perfect, in the middle of everything. And the hostess Malena was so friendly and very helpful. We would stay again !! Just a tip, when you get to the door to the apartments (small sign that says Malena Palace), ring the doorbell and Malena will open the door and greet you and take you to your apartment.

샤워할 때 뜨거운 물 잘 안나오는 것 빼고 다 좋았어요. 엘리베이터 없이 4층 올라가야해서 짐이 많으신 분이라면 유의하셔야 될 것 같네요. 사장님께서 너무 친절하시고 잘 대해주셔서 편히 머물 수 있었습니다.

If you had read carefully, you would have seen that the "Malena Palace Experience" rooms are located on the third floor and there is no elevator because there are no technical conditions for installation in a historic building.Nice greetings

This was a perfect place to stay for our short visit to Split. The room was spacious, spotless and ideally located rfor the old town of Split. Maelna (our host) was brilliant, recommending places to go and things to do. I would recommend this place

Convenient lovely smaller hotel in a very walkable and safe area that is itself the heart of Split. The hostess was gracious and shared her knowledge of the area as well as some useful tips on what to see, where to find good restaurants etc. the hotel room was bright, clean and nicely decorated and came with air conditioning which was most welcome.

Perfect location, great room, lovely host!
A lovely couple of nights here at the weekend. Perfect location, comfortable room with air conditioning and a king and friendly host. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be staying again if I come back.

Come and say hi to Malena and Milan, the apartments are smack bang in the middle of old Split. Sit on the terrace in the evening and just look at the church. Ask Malena for her beautiful lemonade drink. Everything you want in Split is literally a stone throw from the apartments. The apartments are beautifully clean and tidy and there is tea coffee available and if you need it Malena can help with washing. You won't be disappointed

Great location. Malena was a very good and kind host who gave me a drink and some food all grown or made by her. I checked in early. Wifi excellent . Clean , quiet and comfortable room. . Lovely balcony to overlook bell tower.

Marlena palace was a fantastic place to stay. My husband and I were there for two nights before a cruise and were very happy with our stay. It’s a little tricky to find- through the posidion restaurant side alley and then up the stairs- but everything in split is tricky to find :). Only three rooms at this hotel, big rooms and clean, great air conditioning, rooftop patio. Right in the Center of of the walled city. I highly recommend staying there.

Séjour sympathique bon rapport qualité/prix
La situation est idéale au coeur du centre ville et des monuments. La chambre est correcte et propre mais peu moderne. Qui dit centre ville dit restaurants donc assez bruyant mais pour quelques jours on s'en accommode. Mention spéciale à l'accueil fait par la propriétaire très sympathique et bienveillante.

Amazing stay in the heart of Split
Malena Palace is the perfect stay in Split. It is located inside the Diocletian Palance, 2 min walk from the Peristil (the palace square) and I had a view of the Saint Domnius Bell Tower from our window. There is also a small terrace with a better view. The room was sparkling clean and we were greeted with homemade lemonade. Also before the checkout, we were offered apples. Best accommodation in Split 100% We stayed there for 2 nights and could not have ask for more.

Rummet jag fick var ganska litet, enkelt men rent och fräscht. Det finns ingen reception och hotellet kan vara svårt att hitta i gränden, men värdinnan var förutseende och hade skickat information innan vi kom med en medskickad karta hur vi skulle ta oss plus var vi kunde parkera vår bil. Vi fick dock fråga oss fram när vi kom till platsen. Ingen hiss och lite jobbigt att bära väskor om de är tunga i de smala trapporna. Värdinnan var som sagt vänlig och bjöd på saft då vi kom och visade oss sin pyttelilla terass uppe på taket. Liten men mysig. Det går inte att betala med kreditkort så det är kontanter som gäller. Ingen frukostmatsal finns men det var lätt att hitta ute i gränderna något att äta.

Appartement très bien situé mais plutôt vétuste
Le point le plus positif et que l’emplacement est extraordinaire. L’appartement est situé en plein cœur du vieux palais . Par contre c’est dans un endroit très bruyant, les fenêtres ne sont pas isolées.L’immeuble est plutôt lugubre. Malena est une femme charmante pleine de bons conseils. L’appartement ou quoi que vétustes était très propre, et les lits sont confortables.

The location is great if you like to be in the heart of the palace. We found it very convenient for restaurants, small grocery stores, shopping, booking tours, and ATMs. The managers were very nice people and helpful too. Storage for luggage after check out. Nice little rooftop area for enjoying a happy hours overlooking the rooftops. Small fridge in the room is always appreciated! Laundry is available too. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay.

Fantastic location just inside palace. The hostess greeted us with drinks and fresh fruit and provided lots of brochures and information. There are three flights of stairs to reach the apartment but after Dubrovnik this felt like a true vacation. The room was basic but clean and comfortable bed. No problem recommending this place.

Ett väldigt litet familjeägt "hotell" med några få rum. Trevlig och tillmötesgående värdinna och väldigt bra placering i gamla stan i Split. Känns mer som en "homestay" än ett hotell, men för oss med bara en natt i Split passade det bra!

i want to thank Malena for her kindness and welvome dutring my 2 night stay at Malena Palace. my plane arrived very lste saturday night but i managed find Malena Palace with some help ftom locals about 2am. the room was extremely clean and i am one of tbose people who appreciates a clean hotel room. location is fantastic and the view from roof is beautiful.

Sweet location at the old town. The host couple was really nice and offered their help with anything. Especially some bonus from the laundry service. A little hard to find perhaps and the building itself is not very well maintained, but the rooms were in top condition. Only minus is the squeaky beds at least in room 3. A minor problem but needs to be addressed at some point by the owners.

In the middle of oldtown so there will be some noise all the time, the hosts were nice and helpful people. The room was clean and had comfortable beds. Ac works good. Check in and check out times could be better.

The location is amazing - right inside the Palace grounds. The only downside was walking up to the 5th floor with luggage - no help / no elevator. The owner was wonderful.

How about a relaxing vacation?
I can really recommend a stay in the old town of Split. I had a most wonderful week full of adventure. Lots of culture, long walks, nice food and beaches. Malena is a brilliant host. Her rooms are indeed very beautifully designed with both nice new and comfy beds and other really cool old stuff. I will for certain be back!
