Great South Hill Spot

This was a truly comfortable, clean and cozy apartment. The location is ideal with great South Hill shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to downtown Spokane. The hosts were great and I would definitely stay here again.

beautiful appt in a lovely neighborhood

It is a charming appt, however, the heating is tricky. The first time we plugged the space heaters in they blew a fuse. The baseboard heat is anemic. Our host did not get back to us until the next day. He was very apologetic. Once we figured out how to keep warm, we had a good stay.

Wonderful space--quiet, yet close to everything!

We loved our stay at Ukki's Place! From the moment we walked up to the serene front porch and peeked inside the apartment, we knew it was just what we needed for our time away. So many wonderful details greeted us--intentionally-chosen books in the bookshelf, a spacious bedroom with ample storage space, and a fully-stocked kitchen to enjoy meals in if we chose. Jim & Lisa were amazing hosts, quickly responding to any needs we had, but also letting us have our quiet space. The south hill location was perfect for getting here and there in Spokane, yet feeling like we were just enough apart from the hub-bub to relax and unwind. Thank you, Jim & Lisa--we will be back!

Hoopfest retreat!

We visited at the end of June for Hoopfest. My husband hustled hard on the court all weekend and I went for a few scenic runs along the river. This property served as a calm, comfortable, and clean space for us to clean up and rest during our downtime! It was walkable to downtown, with quite a hike back up a hill to get home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils and the space was extremely clean. We appreciated the responsiveness from the hosts leading up to and throughout our stay, we will be back every year for Hoopfest and would love to book again!

The apartment was quiet and the Queen bed was very comfortable. The furniture and floors were up to date and comfortable but the walk in shower with low threshold was difficult to keep water from splashing out on to the floor. The water would get really hot but easily controlled once it got hot. Plenty of lighting. Only 5 minute drive to downtown and restaurants. Parking was on the street and shared with other residents of the area but had no trouble parking directly in front on the apartment side of the street. Single serve Kurieg was nice and newer 12 cup coffee maker. Nice place and will stay again if available next time.

We visited Spokane to see our son and his family, so we spent most of our time with them. This property was convenient (South Hill) and close to our favorite stops (Rocket Bakery, Rocket Market, Thomas Hammer Coffee) as well as close to a beautiful walk along High Drive. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and worked well for our visit.

South Hill visit

Very comfortable place for a week+ visit. It was also super conveniently located, as most activities we did were on the South Hill. Jim and Lisa were very kind and responsive. We had one little issue with no hot water, but they worked to fix it as quickly as they could. The kitchen was minimally stocked, but we didn't spend much meal time there, so it didn't matter to us. I would definitely stay again!

Great location and place to stay

We enjoyed our stay, very much! The location is great, a short drive to downtown, but far enough away to not be bothered by downtown events. The grocery store around the corner was great, we walked to it multiple times during our stay. It's a very quiet spot, nice amenities and an overall nice place to spend our time in Spokane. The host was very friendly and we enjoyed our chat as we passed each other one day. If we are ever in the area again, we'd certainly have no hesitation staying here again!

A Perfect Place

This Father-in-law apartment had everything I needed to relax while I was in town for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. The neighborhood is centrally located. I walked to a lovely health food store and cafe called Huckleberry (?). I might have the name a little wrong. Great breakfast. Nice staff. Sweet walk. I was 8 minutes from where I needed to be and my bed was cozy. The family was very supportive of all my questions and communicated well. I look forward to staying here again!!!!! THank you!!!

This was a great property adjacent to a bigger house. It was very clean and the hosts were kind and responsive. The location is also very good - within walking distance of several parks, grocery stores and a couple of restaurants and bars on the south hill.
