'Such a beautiful property! We stayed 3 nights while our teenager was at Woodward Camp about 20 mins away. Despite being situated at an intersection, the house sits back enough with a nice partially fenced front yard. Not too much traffic. Our Standard Poodle enjoyed rolling and romping there and in the mowed field near the creek. 'The charming cottage was the perfect location from which to explore Bald Eagle State Park, State College and the entire area. The cottage also has a gas grill right on the front porch and a lot of room to spread out. My husband and daughter rode their dirt bikes during the day, while I visited the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars and nearby towns. Our hosts, Will and Dana, were extremely responsive which made for a stress free stay. '

We stayed in the RV which had all the comforts of home-cozy chairs, a roomy dining area, and comfortable beds. 'Remember going to camp as a kid? This location is exactly that- right by the lake, with a place to have a fire and relax. We were only able to stay 1 night but for big groups who are cool with a camp-like stay, it’s a great deal. FYI depending on your carrier the cellphone reception is minimal, which personally I think makes it even more like a no-cellphone camp atmosphere that I appreciate, but our teens of course struggled with that! Sweet back deck with a swing we enjoyed. '
