'I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. '

'Very pleased!! Enjoyed my week. Simple check in. Clean cute log cabin. Accurate description listed, manager responsive, great communication and responded to messages in a timely manner, beautiful scenery, loved sitting on the peaceful front porch, felt safe as a lady staying alone with a swing bar door lock inside and some outdoor soft lights at night and semi- remote location, comfortable bed, outhouse clean, lightly audible nearby highway road noise - not bothersome at all, some airplane noise...

'Spacious home, with lots of little sitting areas for everyone to have quiet time on their own. We enjoyed being walking distance from the Root River Trail. Short drive to Lanesboro where there was plenty to do.We were lucky to be in Lanesboro for the Rhubarb Festival, which was enjoyed by all. We also went to the The Mane Theatre for an excellent satire, "The Outsider". Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.'

'Awesome host’s with great communication. The home is very comfortable, must be okay with stairs. Clean, great beds, open feel with good lighting and windows throughout. Love the front porch. All appliances in working order, stocked kitchen, solid internet. Just shy of a mile walk downtown or too Main Clinic buildings. Close to river walk, felt safe. Good neighborhood. Would definitely recommend'

'We had a very nice long weekend here with teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the land was great for exploring! The kids enjoyed the endless pool. The showers had great pressure and the whirlpool was enjoyed by most - by it was a tub, not a hot tub. The kitchen, while manageable, could use some additions including spatulas, scrappers, cookie sheets - some items one might consider a staple. More practicable dinnerware and cups/glasses might be worth providing. We "figured" out how to work...

'Just keep in mind that the property is very old and so are all the appliances and furniture. When I say old, I mean clawfoot bathtub old. It’s not bad- they all seem to work fine- I just wasn’t expecting that based on the pictures. The house is also set up pretty weird and there are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Other than that, can’t complain. The place is very clean. 'This accommodation was perfect for us. Location was so close to St Marys and let cal restaurants. Shuttle to Mayo worked out well. Well supplied. Can opener needs to be replaced and you need a church key. Extremely clean and comfortable.'

'We were very pleased with having this house to return to every day. We were here for Dr. Appointments for 1 month and this was perfect. It had everything we could have wanted or needed. We loved the trails right outside the door that can take you all over the city. Great location and very nice neighborhood.'

'The house was awesome and very well stocked with everything we needed (kitchen supplies, bath towels, etc.). Firepit and outdoor dining area very nice as well. Hosts super easy to work with, prompt responses. House was clean and beds very comfortable. 4th bedroom isn't ideal for adults as the beds are shorter but a couple in our group are short so it worked. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area!!'

'We had a quick and comfortable stay in The Hen House. We aren't crafters but it would be a great set up for a crafting group get away. The beds were comfortable, the house super clean, the kitchen big and stocked with equipment, and communication with the owner could not have been better. There is a cute firepit out back that we didn't have a chance to use due to rain but the setting is among lovely farm land. We would stay again.'

'We had a great experience staying at Country Cabin. Everything went super smoothly and Craig was very helpful every step of the way. We had plenty of room to hang out and everything was very comfortable. The children really enjoyed the air hockey table as well as the slide from the upstairs game room to the outdoors. 'Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan!'
