Wij zijn een groot huis in het hart van Springfield, MO waar onze gasten geworden familie op historische Walnut Street. Wat brengt gast om ons de eerste keer is onze prachtige locatie. Downtown Springfield is een model van de beste vorm van stedelijke vernieuwing voor veel te volgen. Er zijn meer dan 50 restaurants, twee bioscopen, 5 coffeeshops, twee parken, AA honkbal (voor de St. Louis Cardinals), en drie hogescholen (MSU, Drury, en OTC) binnen een korte wandeling. Je hebt een keuze; kun je hier bij ons blijven en ontspannen op of onze veranda, of neem lopen naar een overvloed aan restaurants en entertainment overal om ons heen. Wat brengt onze gasten terug is onze inzet voor service. Wij willen dat u een goede tijd te hebben, en zal zich inspannen om ervoor te zorgen dat uw verblijf is een fantastische één. This is an excellent vacation or conference stay for a family. Large open living space separates the four bedrooms - one side for kiddos and the other for parents and infant. Adequate kitchen area for meals. The hospitality of snacks, board games, and toiletries was appreciated.

Modern classic just off campus

It is a turn-of-the-century (1901) house that has been modernized. It is near plenty of restaurants and within walking distance of a park, office buildings and the MSU campus. The walls are thin, so you will hear traffic noises, but otherwise a super nice place to stay.

wonderful place to stay if you are in the area

we had a conference at the University Plaza and Convention center. the house was about .8 of a mile from the hotel and convention center. we walked everyday and night to the convention center and it took about 15 minutes. we felt safe and secure even in the evening time. plenty of Law Enforcement Officers in the area and we enjoyed the time in the house as well. nice and spacious and very clean! highly recommend.

Graduation stay!

This is our second stay here in this beautiful home! It just down right feels like you are at home in this beautiful cozy home. Clean, close to everything we needed to get to on campus for graduation and moving our graduating son off campus to his new house for next year. Close to Hammonns Field where we went to watch the Bears baseball team bring home a victory, and within driving distance of shopping and good eats. Hoping to return again next spring when he graduates with his masters degree. Dixie is the best host and always is prompt in answering any questions. Highly recommend her properties!!

Inaccurate Listing

This listing specifically says “entire house” when pulling it up on VRBO. When we received the information to check in from the lister we were informed that we could only use certain parking spots because the others were reserved for “upstairs tenants”. We had no clue we would be sharing a property with other people during our stay. The apartments upstairs have their own entrance through a back stairway/deck. However, footsteps, toilets flushing, etc. could be heard frequently. Unless you search through the 100 reviews there is nothing on the original listing stating that it is a downstairs living quarters and not a full house. Cleanliness and the location was no issue. Would not stay here again.

White Coat Celebration

My daughter was receiving her White Coat from Missouri State University. We (her parents), her 92 year old grandfather, her brother, sister in law and two nieces stayed at the house. It was so nice to all be together instead of separate hotel rooms. We will definitely rent here again. JL

Convenient to Missouri State and Downtown

Our experience (5 adults) was excellent. The property was clean and well-furnished. The layout is exceptional, with a large kitchen, den and porch. The coffee selection and snacks were outstanding-better than expected. It's the perfect place to visit Missouri State University. And it's just a few blocks away from the downtown center, with plenty of food and entertainment nearby. This is a great stay for those who want to be in a lively area.

Beautiful historic home, great location!

Loved the proximity to MSU campus, very comfortable stay for our family as we moved our son into his dorm. I was not expecting there to be another unit upstairs, I probably overlooked it in the listing. We could hear footsteps above but it was not an issue for us.

Felt like home & conveniently located!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home in Springfield, MO. Our family of five was very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the coffee, snacks, and washer/dryer available for our use. Our only suggestion is to trim back the shrubs next to the parking spots for easier access to the driver-side doors. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would certainly recommend this spot to our family and friends!

Lovely Place

A very nicely remodeled first floor of an old house. High ceilings, a large living room and open kitchen. Lots of room. Water pressure was fantastic. Located in a quirky neighborhood near campus and downtown. Lots of restaurants nearby. And easy communication with the property manager. Would happily stay here again.
