We stayed at your hotel this past weekend while attending a wrestling tournament at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, as were many other guests. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing due to ongoing noise disturbances and a lack of appropriate staff response.
On Saturday evening, from approximately 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., three children were repeatedly running up and down the hallways, chasing each other through the stairwells, slamming doors, and screaming. They were also running around the upper balcony area above the front desk, clearly visible to hotel staff. Despite the pool closing and what should have been designated quiet hours, the situation did not improve.At approximately 10:15 p.m., I contacted the front desk to report the issue and asked that it be addressed, as many guestsโmy family includedโneeded rest for early competitions the following morning. I was told the staff member would contact the childrenโs parents. However, the noise continued uninterrupted.
By 10:45 p.m., after enduring nearly two hours of excessive noise, I went to the front desk in person to follow up. I was informed that the parents had been called and that they said they would โsettle the children down soon.โ During this conversation, the children were still actively running and screaming around the balcony area in full view of the front desk. I expressed that my son had a tournament in the morning and that we had a long drive ahead of us. Still nothing was done.
