'The retreat is quiet and secluded and has everything you need. It is a beautiful spot; the pictures don't do it justice. The host (Barbara) is friendly and helpful, but leaves you alone unless you need her. I will stay again. '

'Excellent hospitality and thoughtfulness behind the amenities. The outdoor shower is great and perfectly heated. Highly recommend especially during the cooler days. The bunkie can get hot (our first night stay was 31 Celsius outside) but a portable fan we packed made it bearable. I would recommend packing some camping fans just to keep the airflow going to make things more comfortable if you are planning on staying when it is hot. Other than that, I think it is a great place to escape to...

'My son walked the neighbourhood and found the river and the trail, 3 rabbits and a crane ... and lots of mosquitos ...glad he had long pants on. Sorry we didn't meet our host ... but the location was excellent.'

'Nice private location. Very small cabin. Bring a propane camping stove to boil water and do some cooking. Lots or rubbish in area immediately surrounding the cabin. Could use a clean up. In a nice forested area. One tick on our clothes.'

'This was an excellent property. It had everything we needed for our weekend and was very comfortable. Our host was very responsive - she even offered to bring us another coffee maker when we realized the only one at the property was a kuerig. The only thing we were surprised about is the train tracks right next to the house. We were told (at the last minute) about the noise from the “occasional” train. There was more than “occasional” trains and the noise was really loud. We did get...

'Everything about the stay was wonderful. Place was clean, communication consistent, and quiet neighborhood. Just make sure to do all of your grocery shopping before hand. Long drive to town.'
