Letterlijk anderhalve mijl boven de Blue Ridge Parkway @ 4.000 voet, dit nieuw ontworpen huis beschikt over 2 King en-suites met een gastronomische chef's keuken en groot overdekt terras om grondig te genieten van het spectaculaire uitzicht en de rustige omgeving. Alles in ons huis is gloednieuw! Omringd door onontwikkeld staatsbosland, is dit echt een vredig uitje met geweldige restaurants, unieke winkels, spectaculaire watervallen, geweldige wandeltochten, paardrijden, forelvissen allemaal in de buurt.

Onze ervaring is dat er niets ergers is dan opdagen bij uw huur om te ontdekken dat het minder is dan u had verwacht en uw vakantie teleurgesteld was. We hebben dit huis ontworpen en ingericht voor onze familie en volgens onze hoge normen - u zult niet teleurgesteld worden!

beyond tranquility

The cabin is everything it says it is and then some. It is well equipped and maintained with care. I booked it specifically because of the views from the front porch. The sunrise and sunset were beyond magnificent. Sipping coffee early in the morning with the Blue Ridge mountains sprawling in the background was exactly what we needed. The host is very responsive. I had all my questions answered within an hour or so. We will most likely book this cabin again.

Work trip

Stayed in this beautiful home as I’m working nearby at the hospital. Everything is clean and the place is fully stocked. Can’t say enough about the owner Bill. He follows up to make sure everything is great and when the power went out he cane up to cut down trees and make sure it was taken care of promptly! And the view is amazing:)

Beautiful Mountain View. If you are looking to relax in a peaceful environment, this place is perfect. The place is very clean, has modern appliances, many small appliances, and everything you need for cooking your own meals. The deck has a beautiful Mountain View. You'll absolutely be happy with this great cottage. So much thought went into the entire place. Great quality all around from the owner's communication to the appliances, bedrooms, bathrooms, cleanliness, cable/internet, kitchen appliances, etc. They'll have everything you need. Bill is the best - and quickest - communicator I've experienced when renting a home. I look forward to returning to the property.

Wonderful and Relaxing

The home was perfect for a relaxing time in the mountains. The view from the front porch was great. The mornings out there were so nice and quiet- just me, my coffee, the birds, and the view. The two master suites on the main level were perfect for us and our older dog (yes the cabin was pet friendly too)! The cabin was close to town (by mountain cabin standards) and had easy access to local amenities- wineries, hiking, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Will definitely stay here again!

Idyllic Mountain retreat, Peace, quiet and spectacular views

The cabin was perfect for relaxing, reflecting, and spending time together surrounded by the beauty of nature. Its name, Tranquility, captures its charm. Communication with the owner was outstanding. The cabin is attractive, comfortable and well-equipped with great beds and a spacious contemporary shower. The kitchen is a cook's dream. We spent many enjoyable hours on the porch which is sheltered from rain apart from a real downpour. It is captivating to watch the clouds drift up the valleys or across the sky. An ideal mountain retreat.

Excellent Mountain get-away

The home was immaculate and had all the cooking utensils that were needed. The view was relaxing, and we saw deer and rabbits and heard other wildlife. We even saw a very young, possibly weeks old fawn. We did not expect a gravel road, but it was well maintained. We would stay at this location again. We attended the Highland Games and went to Little Switzerland for a great lunch and to the Mineral Museum. It was a fun vacation.

Just spent 4 wonderful nights at this property, if you are looking for quiet, tranquility, peace, quiet and a beautiful place in nature this is your item. Relaxing Mountain Retreat

Amazing stay at this ultra clean and nicely appointed mountain top cottage. Went with my husband and tweens and there was more than enough to keep them entertained. We enjoyed chats on the porch soaking in the gorgeous view and twinkling fireflies. The house is modern and very comfortable! Highly recommended for anyone looking to take a break and escape to fresh air and peaceful mountain setting!
