Self-catering Eco-Lodge aan de kust van Noord-Cornwall

Sea Whisper was nieuw op de huurmarkt in 2014, een van de zes met ceder beklede eco-lodges in Wheal Friendly Gardens, Rocky Lane, St Agnes

Sereen, ultra modern en toch comfortabel, het huis biedt de perfecte ontsnapping aan de drukte van het strand beneden. De accommodatie beslaat een niveau met een mooie open leefruimte om te ontspannen, koken en de gebeurtenissen van de dag bij te houden. Met openslaande deuren vanuit de zithoek en de hoofdslaapkamer stroomt het interieur gemakkelijk naar het grote omheinde dek. Dineer in stijl of lounge op het comfortabele tuinmeubilair met uitzicht op de boomtoppen in de vallei beneden.

Avontuur of ontspanning voor de deur. Drijf het strand in, op 5 minuten loopafstand, om te surfen, kajakken, zwemmen of peddelen onder het waakzame oog van de kustwacht (tijdens het zomerseizoen). Of ontspan eenvoudig op het strand of in de bistro aan het strand met een kopje koffie of iets sterkers. Heerlijk eten een extra optie.

Loop de kliffen op om deel te nemen aan de kustwandelingen. Een vakantie het hele jaar door, waar u de natuur op zijn best kunt ervaren tijdens de seizoenen, de schitterende paarse heide en gele brem langs de kliffen, het zicht op een zeehond, enorme stormgolven zo opwindend als de schoonheid van de platte turqoise zee in de zomerzon.

Popping naar de winkels is een wandeling van 10 minuten zolang je onderweg niet wordt vertraagd door de cafés en galerijen of gewoon om te stoppen en naar het uitzicht te kijken.

Schitterende pubs en restaurants voor de deur met geweldige lokale gerechten, waaronder een visrestaurant in de Trevaunance Cove zelf. Een speciale plek die geliefd is bij zowel de lokale bevolking als bezoekers.

Houd er rekening mee dat weken voor het volgende jaar kunnen worden geboekt, een week na de overeenkomstige week dit jaar. Dit is om de huidige gasten in staat te stellen opnieuw te boeken voor volgend jaar.

Perfect stay at the lodge

The lodge was as beautiful as in the advertisement. It was the best stocked home we ever rented. Everything you wish for was available! The bay below is quite nice. Driving up the entrance was a bit frightening at fisrst but you get used to it and enough room to turn around your car. We were able to use our chromecast and watch Dutch programs. We really loved the house!

Sea Whisper is a lovely little spot for a quiet break away and the perfect base to explore some really beautiful areas of Cornwall - we particularly enjoyed our visit to St Ives! The lodge is excellently equipped and very comfortable - the only downside was we didn't quite get the views as pictured. Alison is a lovely host, really easy to get in touch with and very kind to provide us with a travel cot and highchair. Thank you!

Stylish holiday lodge short walk from beach

The lodge is one of 5 set in a quiet spot surrounded by trees and just a short walk from St Agnes beach. The property was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable to relax in. The kitchen is very well equipped for whatever cooking you may want to attempt. Outside there is a large decked area with seating and recliners plus a gas BBQ. All in all I would highly recommend.

A perfect getaway

This was our second stay here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The lodge had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. The kitchen was extremely well equipped.There were small local shops and a fab bakery. Will return some other time soon.

October visit to St Agnes

Great location stayed in St Agnes dozens of times and this is one of the best! Excellent weather for October one thing to note this time of year have a small torch handy as if out late it’s very dark walking back up the lane.

Beautiful place

The place has everything and more you need cupboards fully stocked salt tea coffee sauces etc. The sun didn't shine for us unfortunately but it is so cosy so did not matter. The location is good for all your local restaurants and the main st agnes is just up the road really enjoyed our stay

Beautiful place and perfect location

We had such a wonderful stay here. The property is very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is perfectly located with shortcut footpaths to the beach, Trevaunance cove 5 mins downhill but nicely staggered by the footpath at the end of the drive. Coffee and pasties at the cafe and beer and chips from the driftwood. Charming little clothes shop my girls loved. We discovered another footpath up to the villiage and that was interesting and again thankfully staggers the uphill walk. Morning visits to the bakery. Back down through a tippy staple to the beach and many lovely cliff walks. We were extremely happy with our break and the sun shone. We love st Agnes and we loved and we loved the sea whisper. We would love to stay again. Doggies happy and loved the walks.

Wonderful stay

A brilliant place to stay in St Agnes and everything you could need in a holiday home is provided for a care free stay. Private and secluded location close to beach and a short walk to town for all the pubs, restaurants and cafes. Amazing walks along the coast cliff path either side of the cove. We have stayed in several places above the cove, and this is a real gem and it will be the place we will always try and stay in future visits. Thank you!

Lovely property, stone’s throw from beach

Superb accommodation - bright, modern, clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. 5 mins walk from Trevaunance Cove (surfing, swimming, kayaking) and 10 mins walk from quaint St Agnes. Well placed for St Ives, Penzance etc. Had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay

The accommodation was great for our family of 5 adults. Set in a beautiful location with a lovely cove, coastal walks nearby, we had a great week enjoying the countryside and the peace and quiet of the cottage. While the local roads were narrow, access was fine. Cycling was a challenge due to the steep hills, but there is a lot of amazing views to be found. We enjoyed a dinner in the nearby pub and recommend the local bakery for lovely bread, cakes and pastries.

Lovely holiday home in stunning St Agnes

St Agnes is a stunning tiny Cornish town with a beautiful bay. Driftwoods Arms offers great pub and locally brewed ales and gin. Holiday home has everything you need - comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious deck. Located fabulous up a quiet private road yet only 5 mins from beach and shops. We had a great holiday 😊

Spotlessly clean and modern lodge.

We had a very pleasant stay in this clean and spacious property. The host/owner in particular is very responsive to questions. Finding the property for the 1st time can be a bit tricky but instructions are excellent. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. We look forward to staying there again in the future.
