Lakefront huisje met een prachtig uitzicht en veel zon.

Ligt direct aan St. Albans Bay in Georgia, VT. Uitzicht op de Adirondacks, een lichte bries en nachtelijke adembenemende zonsondergangen (elke avond anders) zullen u in een stressvrije gemoedstoestand laten zinken.

Cottage heeft meer dan 1200 vierkante meter aan ruimte met lofted plafonds met knoestige grenen interieurs. Volledige keuken, open voor een gemeenschappelijke zithoek met uitzicht op het meer. Een badkamer met douche, wasmachine en droger. Slaapkamers kunnen slapen 10. Een kingsize slaapkamer met kasten en glazen schuifdeur voor uitzicht op het meer. De stapelbedkamer heeft vier queensize stapelbedden met dressoirs. Airconditioning is beschikbaar in alle kamers. Flatscreen-tv in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte, kabel-tv, high speed internet toegang, WIFI.

Buitenkant beschikt over twee dekken een uit de keuken met een Smoking Joe grill met terras, ook met uitzicht op het meer. Tweede dek ook met uitzicht op het meer heeft een gasvuurplaats en een zithoek, waaronder twee comfortabele lounge stoelen. Perfect om op te hangen aan het einde van een leuke dag en op zoek te gaan naar vuurvliegjes. Overdekte veranda is ook uitzicht op het meer en net naast de slaapkamer.

Parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar voor 4-5 auto's.

Eigenschap heeft 100 meter van het meer voorgevel. We hebben een nieuwe zeewering en een hellende stenen helling om bij het water te komen en naar het dok te gaan. Motorboten, kajaks en kano's zijn populair in St. Albans beslaat en je kunt het dok afkoppelen. Toegang tot het meer voor een boot is slechts enkele minuten van de hut. Als je kinderen graag vissen, hebben mijn kinderen vanaf het einde van het dok veel vis gevangen, wat pompoenpitten, maar dan zijn er af en toe 2-3 ponden die het heel spannend maken.

St. Albans ligt op enkele minuten afstand en Burlington ligt op 25 minuten rijden. Montreal is ongeveer een uur.

Great Lake experience

The listing is accurate. The four of us had a great time fishing and swimming. We caught dozens of fish right off the dock and almost a large bowfin. St. Albans was a great place to eat and get groceries. We took a day to see Burlington. The cabin is large and all the amenities worked. We'd come back if it weren't so far away.

Amazing lakefront property!

This was one of our favorite rentals! Beautiful, spacious home - plenty of room inside to relax, fantastic bunk room, two inviting decks, close proximity to the lake. So many nice touches in the house - lots of games and puzzles. Nice quiet neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets every night. The teens loved kayaking, swimming and fishing off the deck. Hosts were responsive, quick to answer questions. A would definitely rent again.

Vermont Bike Trip

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Carl was very responsive when we had questions. The setting, right on the water, was so special! My daughter and I really enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake. Also, the windows at the back of the house face the water, so you can enjoy the view from inside. The cottage is also very close to St. Albans, which is a really nice town with lots of good restaurants, and 2 great coffee shops. This is a nice place in a great location!

Wonderful Cabin on the Lake

We had the best stay for our family of five. The kids (13, 13, and 9) loved the big bunk beds in their room. Mom and Dad loved our comfy king bed with a view of the lake. Sunsets were a treat every night and the cottage was perfectly equipped for preparing meals and grilling meats. We will stay again!

Comfortable cabin

We stayed for a week this summer and a weekend last summer. The cabin is comfortable - the bunk room has 4 queen beds, each room has its own a/c unit. The living/dining/kitchen space is open and has big windows overlooking the lake. The decks and patio furniture also add so much the the stay.

Perfection

A wonderful rental. We loved the layout of the house, the awesome bunk beds, the kayaks, and the deck over the water. This is the perfect rental along the lake. Georgia does make you work a little harder to go to stores and into Burlington for other activities, but I grew up there so I knew that was the case. This is a great spot to rent and just enjoy Lake life. If it’s available when I come back, I’ll definitely stay again.

Great first experience in VT.

The 303 was a good experience of lake life in VT. The house was nicely renovated with a great wood cabin feel. The view is spectacular. The place was easy to find and directions were great. The house media center was amazing and it was a great house to hang in while we weathered a big storm. There were only a couple of minor issues that did not impact our stay very much. We forgot to bring our own soaps and shampoo and there were none available. The water in the tap was undrinkable as it comes directly from the lake but plenty of bottled water was available. Maybe a little more info about the water quality would be nice (is its filtered?) Overall this place is great and we had a great time.

Relaxing lake vacation

We had a fantastic week at Carl & Donna's lake house. The views are incredible and many amenities are offered so our stay was very comfortable. Lake life means bugs, algae, and using bottled water for drinking/cooking, but the location is worth it! Kids loved fishing right off the dock- catching lots of little Blue Gills and even a 10" catfish one evening. St. Alban's is very near by for things you might want in town...eating out, grocery store, and don't miss the creemee stands! We loved horseback riding at La Joie (40 min drive) and spent a day in Burlington (35 min drive)... If you are looking for a laid back lake getaway you will not be disappointed with this vacation home!

Lovely Memorial Day Weekend Stay

Our family wanted to get away for Memorial Day weekend and we were lucky to find this house available. They are literally right on the lake..you can't beat the view. Carl and Donna have done a very nice job updating their place. The bunk room was a hit with the kids and master bedroom was nice too -all beds were comfortable. The pictures in the posting don't do it justice! The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and the sunsets were gorgeous. There isn't really a spot to go swimming but Sandbar Beach was about 25 min ride down toward South Hero (water was cold in May though). I think there are a few other local beach spots too. We also found lots of great places to eat in St. Albans itself which was less than a 10 min ride. The farmer market in St. Albans on the weekend was really cute too! Of course the Burlington Farmers Market on Saturdays is legendary. The location on the water was superb..the house is situated along the shore amongst other homes..some have been updated while others have not. Given the proximity to the water, there are some quirks related to the plumbing/water provided, but the home owners were great about providing water during our stay. There are some bugs in the evening out back but once you get the fire pit going, it keeps them away. Bring the s'mores for the kids! We hope to get back there soon!

Fantastic week on Lake Champlain

The views here are amazing and the home exceeded our expectations. It is comfortable and cozy, and we spent most of our time on the porches. The nice outdoor furniture and the propane firepit were perfect for enjoying the sunsets. The inside of the house is designed to allow access to the lake views as well. We found several nearby hiking spots and enjoyed lunches in nearby St. Albans. This spot is on our list to return to next year!

Vermont Vacation

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house directly on the bay. It was better than the pictures and had everything we needed plus some. We loved the town of St. Albans and the area around it. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Hopefully we can return next year and maybe tie it in with a trip to Montreal. The owners of the house were very responsive during the whole reserving and check in process answering any questions I had. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.
