'My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again. '

The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. 'Ik heb er 4 dagen overnacht. De mensen waren erg vriendelijk, de kamer was netjes en ontbijt super. De Inn ligt in het midden van Shrewsbury, op nog geen 10 minuutjes lopen van het station af. Behoorlijke schimmel plekken in de de kitranden van het bad, super weinig waterdruk, ouderwetse wastafel, zonder planchet en weinig ruimte voor tandenborstel etc. Bed zou nieuw moeten zijn, 6 mnd geleden nieuwe matrassen...

'Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay.
However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station.
