I'd agree the Green room is a little small for a lot of luggage, I think the views more than compensate I did also offer you a bigger room but you were happy where you where, look forward to seeing you again, safe traveling. Hi Trish I'm not quite sure why I am being marked down because of Expedias fault. Google maps, my website all clearly show exactly the location of the B&B, it is 1 mile from South Street an easy 10 minuet walk along the beach and harbour, , obviously I know who this guest is and she had difficulties in walking so for her it would have been hard, but as I said it is clear on the website the location. It is lovely and quiet here being on the edge of town with fantastic sea views which you cannot have in the town centre. Pam

I am the past chair of the St Andrews Bed and Breakfast Association and I can assure you if it extremely unlikely that any member does breakfast before 8am, fact. No where on my web site does it say there is a common lounge, because there is not one. fact. You did not pay 450 dollars you paid £250, fact. You booked a double room then wanted a twin then changed your mind again, there were chairs in the twin room. fact. Had you maker been different I may have been more obliging.

Hi it was lovely to have your family to stay, I did wonder why you hadn't booked a self catering place but now I understand why, no availability! the bedrooms you had for your husband and children are only EVER let to families traveling, NEVER strangers sharing, absolutely not. I thought I was doing pretty well, direction, where to eat, what to do, not just St andrews but your onward journey to Fort william, hopefully that all went well? I am pleased that you liked the B&B.

This is factually not correct, this guest was extremley grumpy, all his friends were staying at eh fairmont but he said he couldn't afford it, I suspect he wants all the services a hotel provided, i:e: a lounge, a bar and grounds, a spa perhaps.......my B&B is a private house as are all the others. I normally serve breakfast 8.30/9am, I try to meet guest needs but 6.00 is just too early I'm afraid. When making a booking there is an option to book room only for those with early flights or early tee times along with a B&B option, so it would have been easy enough for the guest to choose room only on his last day. I also accept to packages which arrived with no t=notice, these items were cheaper to send to my house than his is Switzerland!!!! weird. As a rotairian, this is supposed to be a charitable organisation, hopefully for next years golf he finds somewhere else to stay.

Sorry the bed was too soft, can't please everyone I'm afraid. There is an option when booking to have room only or B&B, those with early flights and tee times can easily choose room only for the stay. I run a B&B, not a hotel,
