Wonderful days in this beautiful and comfortable guest house
The house was clean, beautiful and comfortable. We received a warm welcome and they inviting us to join them boating in the afternoon. We really enjoyed this. We wanted to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton and we knew upfront that this is an 1,5 hour drive but that was no issue at all. We preferred this quite location. Thank you Marvin and Misty for your wonderful hospitality We really recommend this place.

Clean and comfortable
I love the floorplan of this little guest house--it is small, but feels very open and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. I wish I could have tried out the little beach and pond--it looked like a lot of fun. I loved the location. It was close to a small airport, but I was not disturbed by the planes. Occasionally there was a smell of fumes, which may have come from the garage below, I'm not sure, but I was able to open the windows and let in fresh air, which seemed to solve the problem. The owners are very responsive and helpful. As someone with allergies and sensitivities, I really appreciate the all the efforts they make to keep the property allergy-free.

Home Away from Home
Marvin and Misty are wonderful hosts! The Guest House is beautiful with gorgeous views of the Tetons and surrounding area. All of the amenities and attention to detail provided us with an immediate feeling of home. Great location with relaxing setting. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Property
We stayed just one night here, but wish we could have stayed more. This place was clean and modern. It's set in such a peaceful and quiet setting. The beds and couches were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked. The owner was fantastic to work with--she even called me while she was on her own vacation to make sure I could find the property and get in. Whenever we're up in that part of Idaho again, we will for sure be staying here.

Easily the nicest place we’ve stayed….
Located just a couple of miles outside St Anthony, Idaho. This guest cottage offered us a great place to stay and visit the surrounding area. We mainly wanted to visit Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole Wyoming, and they were both easy to get to from the Cottage. Good highways, very limited traffic, made each one about an hour away…The cottage itself, is located on a farm, it’s about 2 miles to “civilization” from the farm, the peace and quiet of the area, is wonderful. The cottage inside it bright and has a modern look. Outside there is a nice deck, to enjoy the evening….I’m guessing it’s about 650 sqft, which makes it quite roomy. We really enjoyed having a kitchen and laundry, as we stayed 9 days. It was always a relief to get back to our cottage after a hard day of being a tourist…lol. The main home of the property is very close, yet the cottage has its own parking area, and feels very private, we liked the security of having the owners close by. My wife and I realized why this property, is rated 5 stars in so many reviews, it is truly an awesome property, in so many ways. Thanks Misty, for a very enjoyable stay….

Exactly what we were hoping for
My wife and I took our oldest son (10) on a quick weekend getaway to enjoy the sand dunes. The guest house was absolutely perfect and we will definitely make an effort to stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the guest house. It was a short drive to Rexburg to see our kids, but still out in the country. Everything was spotless and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when come out for a visit.

This was a very cozy little guest house. It is upstairs and has a beautiful view of the Tetons. We really enjoyed our stay although we were gone most of the time seeing the beautiful sites. The rental has everything you need and the owners are super nice. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Beautiful space in Idaho
Misty and Marvin's guest house is beautiful, spacious and very clean. We were a group of 5 and there's plenty of space and there's everything you can possibly need available. We would have loved to stay longer to enjoy more of the outdoor amenities but only had 3 nights. The pond is a lovely feature with the paddle boat and paddle boards. We would love to stay again. Beautiful Guest House!
My husband and I stayed a month, and everything was so perfect! Great location as a base for many outings. Very quite, and extremely comfortable, well stocked and so beautiful. Owners Marvin and Misty were wonderful hosts, and we we had a very enjoyable experience!

We stayed here on a trip to visit Yellowstone. The place was well kept and very quiet. The listing was accurate, but I think it would be tough to fit 6 people here. Overall though it was a great stay and a great place that isn’t too far from the park.

Absolutely favorite place to stay!!!
This place was amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. We only stayed here 3 nights but wished we would have planned for longer. The place was very roomy and comfortable and had absolutely anything you could need. Our 11 and 14 yo boys just wanted to hang out here and play in the pond instead of explore the NPs. Misty and Marvin were super friendly and great hosts. I would 100% reccomend staying here.

No Complaints Whatsoever!
SAFE, Helpful & "extremely Responsive during entire stay" Host & Hostess (e.g. rental car had tire w low air pressure, Misty immediately answered my call and referred me to an excellent local tire center). I received more than what I paid for in that Misty was very informative & shared her extensive knowledge of ID & WY both before I confirmed the reservation & during my stay. The VRBO home was bright, cheery, very tidy...simply lovely. Wished I could have stayed longer and hope to visit once again. Highly recommend. I encourage you to "experience it for yourself"!

We had an amazing stay! The pictures don't even do it justice! We wish we had had more time to enjoy the property. If you have a few days to stay definitely book this place. Our host was very gracious and allowed us to play on the little lake on the property. The home was beautiful and clean. Not one complaint!

Everything you're looking for
Wonderful home away from home! This place is exceptional in every way: the location (for fishing), beautiful sunrise/sunset/day time view, lots of outdoor things to do in the area - and just as fun to stay on the property. We've stayed many places, but NO place is as outfitted with EVERY thing you need the way Misty has set up this rental. I'd give it more stars if only I could! Looking forward to going back for a 3rd/4th/5th stay.

Very nice place in a very quiet setting
This upstairs apartment is exquisitely decorated, with all the latest conveniences. We loved being in such a rural setting, with the cows and lots of farmland nearby. Very peaceful and relaxing! I would not recommend this for families with young children. Also, having to go up stairs to get to the apartment would be an issue for those with physical limitations. But it was great for my family of 3 (2 adults + responsible teenager). We loved it and definitely felt it was a great value!

Beautiful and Cozy!
We spent 10 days here at Marvin and Misty’s guest house and it was awesome! I could probably go on and on about this place and the owners, but I’ll try to keep it kind of short! We felt so much at home here! The place is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches everywhere. The beds are so comfortable I’m honestly going to look for the same bedding! Beautiful view of the Tetons from the property. The home had about everything we needed (bought some food and we were all set for meals in the evening at the home! My sons 12 and 10 and us loved the trout pond, with swimming pedal boat, and fishing! They brought out the paddle boards and stuff for us to play on! The drive to Yellowstone is about 70 minutes, but it’s a beautiful drive, with beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way! Misty and Marvin were some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. We hope to visit them again one day!

Amazing home with everything you need
We only stayed here for one night, but I would have loved to have stayed longer! The owners attention to every detail in the home was amazing...from the upgraded cabinetry to the decorations to the comfortable bedding to the fluffy white towels to the every small appliance you can think of, and on and on. A very modern home in the middle of an idyllic countryside with cows peacefully grazing in the field adjacent to the home. Spectacular!

No detail missed! Amazing property and hosts
We've stayed at a number of guest properties, but this outranked them all. The setting is gorgeous. The hosts were friendly and attentive and yet left us to do our own thing. The guest house is both beautiful and homey at the same time, and it has every comfort one could ask for; the attention to every detail was truly beyond compare. We will definitely be back! If we could give it more than 5 stars we would!

Apartment is a near “to town” but very quiet place to stay. We used this rental, at a good price point, as a place to stay for our trips to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and even learned & enjoyed the local Sand Dunes. We had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend this place.

Inviting Space, Wonderful Location
We needed a place to stay during BYUI graduation with space for our grads to transition out of their student apartment. The Guest House is a couple of exits north of Rexburg and was just what we needed. Communication was excellent, with rules and checkout procedures clearly listed. It’s so nice to have a checklist to make sure I’m leaving a property the way the renter wants it. Questions were answered promptly both through VRBO messages as well as texting. It is designed, decorated and maintained really beautifully and had many thoughtful touches for travelers, such as a washer and dryer (with detergent on hand!!) and all needed kitchen/dining equipment. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets and the like. Good WiFi and the smart tv with Netflix already logged in were appreciated. Tiny touches, such as automated candles glowing upon our after-dark arrival, made us feel expected and welcomed. Little things do matter. Thank you! The location was magical for this East Coast girl, with views of the Tetons and that wonderful feeling of big skies and quiet space. I will keep this property in mind for possible future trips as a home base for Yellowstone, Craters of the Moon, and Jackson, WY exploration.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. It served our travel plans well - day trips to Yellowstone and the Tetons, and surrounding areas in Idaho. The place itself is beautifully decorated, like brand new, comfortable and very well supplied with everything we needed. The kitchen was perfect as we like do our own cooking and prepping for picnics for our daily excursions. We recommend this Home Away without any hesitation. Owners are great!
