Verouderd maar prima hotel.
Sterk verouderd hotel. Daar is de prijs ook naar. Prima ontbijt en ideale locatie aan het strand en op 15 minuten rijden van de mooie wegen in Lake District. Bar en eten was top! Toilet bediening werkte niet erg goed. In het hotel hing een wat muffe lucht.

Comfy stay at Seacote.
Welcoming and friendly staff. I had everything I needed. The shower was a challenge in that it as tricky to work out how to alter the temperature.

Enjoyable stay.
Visit was only for one night but we're very impressed with the hotel and it's facilities. Clean and comfortable room and friendly and efficient staff. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Only one night stay for a business meeting and it was a late arrival on Sunday but staff were helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Room was large and clean and bed comfortable while Wi-Fi was efficient

A friendly no-smoking, pet friendly, hotel located a few minutes walk from the beach. We had a spacious room with an en-suite bathroom which had a large walk in shower. Tea/coffee making facilities were available in the room. The breakfast was extra but was well worth it with plenty to choose from, including a full English, porridge, cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, juices and tea or coffee. There was an extensive menu for evening dining with large portions of delicious food. Booking a table is advisable.

Really enjoyed our visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the vegetarian breakfast was excellent. Next time we visit we will get one of the refurbished rooms though as ours was in need of an update ie the shower stand was barely hanging on. Lovely position, great beach a minute away too.

A quick trip to St Bees
We planned this visit very late. As I was working late, we started off pretty late and reached the hotel around 2300. I had spoken to the staff the night before and in the morning, and they were very nice and accommodating. In fact, the staff is very nice and the cooked breakfast is very good. But the hotel is dated and is in despair need of renovation. At least it would benefit from a change in decor and repainting. Rooms are small, bathrooms basic. The room became very hot during the day, and I was kindly provided with a wobbly table fan that could hardly beat the heat. The car park is nearby. There was a wedding going on, and the smoke of cigarettes was going inside the premises. The surrounding place is very nice and scenic

Lovely room but no evening meal when a wedding on
Mindful thiss is a 3 star hotel, the rooms we had were lovely. They had clearly spent some money refurbing them and they were of a high standard. Comfy bed, pillows etc and the bathrooms were new and very clean. The only thing that tarnished the stay was that they had two weddings on over the long weekend and this meant that both nights the restaurant was shut. This was really inconvenient given the limitations around st bees. Take away was the best advice...but that took 3 hrs to arrive! Obviously nothing to do with the hotel but heightened the problem of no restaurant facility. If we were warned about this we wouldnt have booked, but there was no mention of it when booking.

Good enough but basic
Basically clean and comfortable but when looked at more closely it was obvious there was not a lot of attention to detail. Some mould on tiles at bottom of shower, around window frames dirty when window opened. Beds were comfortable enough but the whole hotel is very dated and in need of serious refurbishment.

Very nice hotel. Clean and functional. I would stay again. Restaurant is expensive and the food goes not match the cost, breakfast the same but that aside it's a good stay.

This Hotel was a great place to stop before starting the Coast to Coast walk or cycle. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy, a good breakfast was on offer and the bar/restaurant offered meals that were more than acceptable.

Just come back from a long weekend break apart from our room not been cleaned during our stay I had to ask at reception for clean towels toilet rolls coffee milk amd tea bags we returned to find clean towels dumped on top of our suitcase along with the toilet roll bins hadn't been emptied this was on our 2nd day rooms should at least be checked everyday for bins being emptied and toilet rolls ect Other than this a great stay fantastic views

Fantastic location and very clean, comfortable rooms. The wonderful staff are the icing on the cake, so lovely! Bar/restaurant also good, but be sure to book your table before or when you check in as there's not too many dining options in St Bees. If you are lucky they will have a curry on the specials menu - absolutely superb and good value too. Especially when it comes with poppadom, nan, rice and chips! A special place you'll want to return to time again!

Amazing area to stay, the food hall within the hotel was fully booked for the two days we stayed so we had to travel to find food. The town is around 15 minuite drive away, we also should of had a sea view room as booked on the site however this was not the case! I would advise call up and double check that the room is sea facing before purchase. The room was a good size.
