'We loved that the hotel was clean and affordable. This hotel is authentic. It isn't a sterile corporate environment and the people that own it and run it are real people that live in the community. Everyone was down to earth and friendly. Every room is beach front and it just really felt like home base. I highly recommend the suites. We had such a wonderful time. It was so nice just to come home to a clean room, friendly service, comfy beds and an amazing view! Definitely we will come back next...

'Excellent location. Great view of Lake Huron. Very convenient to get in the ferry for Mackinac Island. We actually walked to the ferry but the shuttle picks up at hotel also. Very clean and has been renovated. Front desk staff was very attentive and helpful for any of our questions for the area or the hotel. We would definitely stay here again. '
